![]() Southside Muay Thai and Fitness Gym opened their doors in 2002 by Barry Saunders and was joined by Kar Wong in 2005. A relatively young but blossoming gym, Barry and Kar have built a strong community and training school based on long-lasting friendships with the same enthusiasm for the sport of Muay Thai. With over 35 years of training, and 10-plus years of coaching and fighter management between them, Barry and Kar will find the right program to kickstart your fitness, increase your confidence, strength and stamina. Just bring the right attitude and we will assist you in providing the right techniques and program to suit your needs. While you are having fun training Muay Thai, we assure you that you will feel energised, confident in yourself and most of all, see the results of training. The gym offers students Thai boxing classes that cater for junior, men and women - for beginners to professional fighters. The gym also offers plyometric training for fitness enthusiasts and cross-training for other sports. The gym is open full-time with more than 14 classes per week and is equipped with a boxing ring, heavy hanging bags, free weights, cardio equipment and is open for equipment and clothing sales. Southside Muay Thai and Fitness also offers personal training services conducted by fully qualified professionals. Personal training requires knowledge and skills in the areas of motivation, lifestyle coaching, planning, goals setting, fitness, nutrition and stress management. We can help you to loose those unwanted kilos, gain power, strength, conditioning and fitness at an elite level. We aim to change lives to better health, fitness and your way of living.
