Default Shannon King vs Antero Hynynen, Thai Fight

Shaggy had a huge fight yesterday in Bangkok on Thai Fight against Antero Hynynen from Finland. The work rate from both fighters was very impressive over the 3 rounds.

stoked to have another ozzie in there, but dang, was there something wrong with Shaggy's legs? Think he only through about 2-3 kicks the whole fight.

Shaggys not a kicker. Never really has been, but more less so now with his transition to boxing.

His boxing and guard are pretty unremarkable these days. Lucky he hits super hard. Same at his last Evo fight, missed a lot of shots by 2 meters. But once he connects there will be a lot of damage.

Yeah definitely not the fighter of old. His guard seems too low and didn't kick enough. Shaggy has awesome kicks but seems not use them. Hopefully we can see the shaggy of old maybe the boxing has changed his technique. His more recent fights against Badato and Moxson were a lot better quality.

The Thai commentators were saying both guy don't know what the meaning of tired means. The said Shaggy has heavy hands and exciting, but this is Muay Thai and you must use all 8 weapons. They said after the 1st if Shaggy didn't win by ko it would be very difficult for him to win in points.
Antero fought a smart fight considering he was the smaller guy. Took all the advantages of being a southpaw, he looked to have a pretty good chin after taking a few of Shaggys shots.
Saying that, this is pretty much the Buakaw show. None of these guys are going to give him, or any of the other Thais a hard time. It's almost as if every fight against a Thai is a mismatch.
