Nope, HBO wouldnt allow it. Firstly they want to keep Geales 2 titles quiet until Chavez jr and martinez square off again, instead of the public asking why martinez is not fighting Daniel. The answer is that Chavez jr has a massive market base and generates them huge revenue.

Once thats done and dusted, Golovkin will sort out a couple of heads, then fight Geale or Martinez for a unification. Then when it comes down to the winners out of this pool of fighters, they will push for a super fight in Vegas with either Geale v Martinez, Geale v Golovkin, Martinez v Golovkin or Chavez jr v any one of these.

HBO are the gate keepers.

It's in their interest to start building Geale NOW. A good showing here against Mundine would be a good start.

Martinez or Chavez Jr would eat Geale. Lets see how he goes in the Mundine match up. Anything short of knocking out choc and we'll know that he's not ready for any bigger names.
