The NSW Government is reviewing the Combat Sports Act 2008 and is interested in receiving comments on the proposed reforms from people working in or having an interest in combat sports in NSW.
A discussion paper that outlines the issues and proposed reforms is available at http://www.dsr.nsw.gov.au/aboutus/in....asp#cs_review Comments should be made online, using the easy to complete survey available on the website. People who can’t access the online survey can call 13-13-02 for assistance. Your feedback is valued and the survey will close on 11 September 2012. |

This is such a great opportunity for all stakeholders regardless of affiliations with gyms, promoters, sanctioning bodies, or even sports to have their say on the discussion paper put forward by the CSA. I think its great that this time round everyone is being given an chance to have a say.
For those who complain about the current state of affairs, now is your chance to actually have a say and submit what you changes you would like made. I strongly advise those who are passionate about this to jump on, have a good read, and complete the survey. If you dont, then dont complain about it AFTER the fact. |

"If" it isn't like most other govt reforms where there is already a predetermined outcome and they are going to the public for comment so they can tick the box and say they have consulted effectively with the public...
