Peter is an animal 6ft 4 110kg plus Kyokushi champion with lethal kicks he ahs stopped Jason suttie, Kevin Blanche beat Ben Edwards, August Luzua, Tama Tehuna he has improved his hands over the years and have stood next to him as well as watxhed alot of his fights live and Thor is in for a battle

Thats awesome il be lookin forward to this fight! thor definetly dosn take any easy fights! thor has the sting to fight first an then once he takes out paul id love to see thor on the K1 circuit! though thor is a small heavy weight he sure does knock the super heavy weights out!

Yeah Thor is one of the most highly repsected young heavyweights out there his record is amazing he has fought the like of stu and steve mc, Humble , Sting, Andre Meunier plus international bouts who hasnt this guy fought?? he is small for a super heavy and so young his record doesnt speak for itself as in his first ten fights he was fighting guys with thrity plus fights what a machine I really look up to the guy

Mass respect for Thor but peter kikcs arguably harder that Paul or Chief but his hands not as sharp as Thors. Cant wait to see this one

Sampson doesn't kick as hard as Graham or Slowinski, ive been kicked by all 3 but he is a tough guy and a great fighter.

Peter was my last K1 Oceania fight in June 2006. He won a unanimous dec. No excuses, he beat me fair and square.

Apart from Slowinski, Peter is the only person who has beaten me that hasn't retired and i haven't avenged so i hope we can organise a re match for early next year.

good news Pete is to fight Ben on feb 20 in canberra , thanx Nick for putting it on , Pete is looking forward to it, should be a cracker good luck to both guys .Isnt the heavyweight division in australia looking exciting , 8 man looking tempting , would the heavys be interested? Its a shame im still having flashbacks of the last nightmare 8 man, if the fighters are keen i would do it again, mmmmmm

Great to see the heavyweights back. Now that Peter Sampson back we can see who the best are in the Heavyweights Oceania. Dream match Peter Sampson Vs Ben Edwards those two are my pick of the current heavyweight champions. Wanted to match that fight couple of years ago Pete wasnt fightin then tried again he was getting married. Very happy to see him back. Should be a excellent fight. Goodluck to both boys.Like both of them.gentleman in and out of the ring.
