Anyone got any info on them?
Record, opponents fought, preferred rules and how they would compare to today's fighters...i.e. similar to Foley, Dawson, Tai, Preacher etc?
Cheers

They were tough boys in the 90s,Nick and Steve, they are twins, but have been largely inactive for a long time now, must be in their mid 30s now? Fought Full Thai a lot. Are they fighting again? Foley, Dawson and Preacher would all be too big and too much for them now, though they would give it a red hot go,as the saying goes. The fought mid to low 60s I believe.

Tough as Hell!
Steve was my fav.. walk up and bang bang bang! when he fought Kongjak was awesome and was one of my first shows i went to back in the day.
Steve was 63kg Nick was 66kg they would both do fine today as they were very tough and had great training behind them with all the Thais back at City Lee Gar.

Steve Misich has been beaten by Marcus Maddog Mangan
Nick Misich got KTFO when he fought Dale Middleton ( Dale got revenge for Chopper giving me 3 stitches and badly broken nose on same show)
both these in mid/late 90s
Nick lost to Jordan Tai in NZ k-1 tourny, 2002 i think

There legs were shorter than there arms!
They were 'dynamite' to watch 'cos you knew they both would leave nothing in the ring.
During the 90's, the twins were both riding high when 'Jaffa' Land was at it's vista on the NZ Muay Thai scene. And were fighting out of the same Lee Gar stable as Choppa, Daniel Hatch, Eddie Tongalahi, Jojo Ancajas etc. A strong team indeed.

Ah I remember that now Rexy, I think Rebel has a video of it. Rexy fought tonnes of good guys, F-16, Prince Hamid on three occasions, Jom Bing twice,Kiyo Kitamura, who was a good Japanese fighter based in NZ, Krongsak Lek.

Close Richie, Rex fought Jom Bing three times, I cornered for him in their 3rd encounter. All three fights were absolute wars.
Rex also fought Paul Le, Kurt Finlayson, Soren, plus a stack of others (including thai's). He fought in Thailand a few times.
Rex was a multiple New Zealand Champ, South Pacific Champ, and a 3 time World WKBF Welterweight Professional Muay Thai Champion, he was a complete fighter, had a never say die attitude, and had a knack for drawing in the crowds, with every event he headlined being packed to the rafters.
He is also a very apt trainer and fight promoter.
He unfortunately had to retire early, due to injury and family commitments.
Sorry to go off topic, just thought I'd help to answer Glass Jaw's question.

Thanks to all for posts.
Rex, sorry to hear the news of your father, but yes, family is much more important, so good on you.
I recall hearing of your war with F-16, though never saw it. Would have loved to have seen you fight Pixie, very evenly matched in my opinion? Also Preacher and Sanapar Noi would have been great to see.
Soren and Finlayson also would have been tough bouts but goodies.
Cheers
