wearing anklets

What do you guys think of wearing anklets in a fight? i find if ya dont wear them your kicks make a loud slapping noise.. which creates an illusion that your kicking harder which could make a judge see the fight in your favor "if its a close fight". cuz the crowd does react when they hear a loud slap after a kick.. i dont think they protect you anyway unless your hiding 3 inches of tape under there to protect your instep.

So you have a problem with men wearing anklets Paul :),

I'm not so sure Sethridge, i think i agree. In reality though, sound can play a monumental role in the way a fight is perceived, whether it be via commentary, crowd reaction, or as you say by the volume of a strike.

I think the ankle supports, anklets are a good idea. you dont need to hide the tape if you are wearing it to support your ankle.as for the slapping noise, if you kick hard and fast the slapping noise can come from any part of your leg, foot, that connects.

then give her 1 with them OFF..i will watch and let ya know wot sounded better or "IF" they made any difference at all hahahhaha (hope she dont read this..or ill be getting head kicks)
