WBA Heavyweight Champion and the best p4p fighter alive today Roy Jones Jr will make his first defense of his WBA Heavyweight Title against former undisputed heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield in August. Murad Muhammad told San Juan press that the fight would take place on 4 October and claimed it would earn Jones $15m. Murad went on to say that Roy Jones Jr if victories will go on to face other former undisputed Heavyweight Champion, "Iron" Mike Tyson in early 2004 and then will go on to face the best and current Heavyweight Champion of today Lennox Lewis in late 2004. Jones became the first former middleweight champion in more than a century to win the heavyweight title when he beat John Ruiz in March to win the WBA Heavyweight Title. If Jones is able to defeat Holyfield, Tyson and Lewis, most people could possibly regard Jones the best p4p fighter that ever lived. More news to come.
