Paul,

The article is under a section under OVERDRIVE - its only a one page thing - all about cars. I dont think that you would be able to find it on the internet version and another thing - i thought some one wrote it on stan - it wasnt stan wrote it himself! too bad i dont have a scanner - i wouldve posted it!

paul, i was reading your posts to scottya on AX regarding cameras. You seem to have heaps of knowledge - well its typical u are a photographer. but anyhow, i have a digital camera myself and i am experiencing some problems. firstly it is a Pentax Optio S 4.0 megapixels. the photos turn out great, but when i connect it to my computer, the files are like 4.0MB big! and they are already .jpeg format, which is supposedly the smallest picture format - do u have any tips to make them smaller?

Go in your menu,

Select rec mode

You will see there is a variety of settings,

1 star, 2 star, or 3 star.

Plus you can also select a smaller resolution as well. One star is the lowest setting, and 3 the highest. So just give them all a go and see what size is a good compromise between quality and size.

My wife has a Pentax Optio 230, I'm presuming yours will be pretty similiar in the menu's.
