Off Topic: Accommodation in North QLD?

Hey people!

I have just booked my vacation away to Tropical North Queensland! Should be awesome... BUT I have no where to stay! hahah lol I keep turning the page tryin to find a nice place to book. Its so damn friggin hard.

Can anyone recommend a place to stay in either Cairns, Palm cove or Port Douglas?

I dont wanna end up with a great looking picture and when you get there its a total different picture!!!!

Jan,

Steve here! You helped me out with that K1 video, when Mark Hunt wins.
In my work, and you know what that is - someone put me up in a 2 bedroom suite at the Sebel in Cairns. It was unreal!
Apparantly Mick Jagger and a few others had stayed there.
About $660 a night, but I paid nil and it was great!
You may not get my deal, but I obviously highly recommend it!
If Gurkan goes with you, get him to pay! Mundine would be paying him heaps!

Thanks guys for your help. The reason I havnt booked anything is simply cause I have had many bad experiences with hotel accommodation.. 4 STar motels turn out to having condoms underneath the bed to stains all over the carpet.. lol hahah

Ozkan the second, The Sebel and Novotel are a good choice. They start at like 190 per night per double. Its expensive but it will be worth it....

As for Steve firstly how yaaaa been!!! Secondly, your a pisser! I may be rich but not in the money department to afford Deluxe Suites as does little Johny Howard does! lol $650 a night, I was hoping $650 for 7 nights!! haha or at worst 3 nights!

Any of you other guys stayed in QLD before? excluding the bold and the beautiful lifestyle of STeve. :)

Janer make sure you try to get out to Dunk Island or somewhere like that for the day. It's pretty nice. They have water taxis to Dunk from Mission Beach.
Also if you're into like ecotourism or anything like that head up to Kuranda on the skyrail form Cairns.

hey janer, if ur going that far up, see if you can get to a place called north stradbroke island - i think thats how u spell it. if u get the chance to go scuba diving there, far out , it'd be awesome! i went last year and it was so fun - im planning to go again maybe this year 2!
