South Australia is finally back on the Muay Thai/Kickboxing Map, though with new laws in place requiring all amatuer boxers to wear Shinpads and headgear. Ethan Shepp of Sheppster Promotions and John Leondaris of Pepper Promtions now holding regular shows every 4-6 weeks. The latest show promoted by Pepper Promotions was held on the 16th of May and was a great success. This was a highly entertaining night with a clash between SA & WA on the line. Scott Chiswell from Kachina Fight Club put in a superb performance over 3 rounds to defeat his WA opponent, dominating from the clinch and continual dumps to the canvas to take a unanimous decision. Chad Roberston also of Kachina Fight Club took a split desicion over a more experienced opponent in what was the fight of the night. Reinhardt Bedato lost a close descision against his WA opponent for an Australian Title, this fight was a craker with both boys pushing themselves to there limits. In the end of the SA V WA, South Australia came up trumps taking 3 wins of the 5 intersate bouts.
Knees of Fury 2( Sheppter Promotions) will be held at ETSA Park on June 15th with the main event pitting SA's Paul Slowinski in his toughest fight to date. His Opponent is the highly rated Jurgen Khrut of Sweden who has already proved himself on the K-1 Circuit. Also battling this night is Kurt Finlayson and Andrew Keogh Vs Thai Opponents, Tommy Gun Reid takes on Aaron Dixon of N.Z for a Oceania Title and a great grudge match between John Chaniotis and Troy Fiedler. The rest of the undercard is highlited by two of SA's Rising Stars Scotty Chiswell & Chad Roberston both Boys are on a winning streak and will look to continue there great form. This night promises to be a ripper and is Proudly Sponsered by AUSPAC Muay Thai.
Following this just 6 weeks later is the next Sheppster Promotion called Rising Stars. With the bulk of the fight Card to be made up of Fighters from Flinders Muay Thai, Kachina Fight Club & Young Lions this promises to be a great night of Amatuer Muay Thai.
