Thought a little levity after some serious forum-speak this week.
Many years ago I was a young lad working at a bank in the city and my boss who was a large Englishman used to encourage Friday afternoon drinks. This consisted of us heading into his office (which could comfortably hold about 25) where he sat in the corner like Jabba the Hut, dispensing the beers like royal pardons. The only problem is that the price per beer was basically copping one of his best insults in front of everyone else, who politely laughed and on it went to the next person (of course you weren't permitted to give it back in large).
So I started drawing caricatures of him (not very complimentary either) and leaving them on colleague's desks...it got to the point over the months that everyone had at least one copy and come the next Friday while he was out getting the beers we put them up in his office.
Coincidentally the Division Head wandered in with him for a drink and you could have cut the air with a knife until he burst into laughter...that was the last time an insult was ever heard from that guy.
