most of u problably heard it was on the news the vy ss that hit the tree in clarind and the passenger died
George was a great bloke a funny kid aswell always made u laugh

that's very sad Kocho...youngsters at 20 don't ever think it can happen to them. Sometimes you just have to stand up to mates and tell them to pull their heads in when it comes to speeding, drugs etc. Not easy I know...

Sorry to hear about the loss of your mate. To go out as a result of someone elses brain explosion (pardon the pun) is just wrong in my opinion. I'd bet any money that yourself and all his mates will be obeying the speed limits now. Its always easy to dismiss all these similar stories in the media as its always 'somebody else'. But like Voice so diligently put it, i hope all people affected by this sad loss will pull their collective heads in in a big way.
Kudos to you champ for coming on here and celebrating his memory.

George Petrou was my godbrother.
He did kickbox for 3 and a 1/2 years with me. We trained together every week. Funeral was today.
Not good. He was too young.
