it's been used for boxing events....can't think of any kickboxing/mma ones though.

Yeh about 5 min drive from the gym.
Never really come up as an option.
Quite happy with the current arrangements. When your on a good run, may as well stick with it.

i am tipping Baris on this one, i saw him spar few weeks ago and he looks nearly as good as he used to in his prime! Still possesses the awesome leg kicks and body shots, on the other hand...Eric's done quite well in his last few fights... i am really looking to this one fellas!

so he's facing a guy from WA (perth) for the East Coast title.

This show last night at Dandenong Basketball Stadium had a record turnout of people, it was packed and all seats were taken from stands to the ground floor and people had to stand up, id say there was a good 3 thousand people.

Ray Dimachki won the east coast title, this guy looks the goods he is very quick and strong for a heavyweight.

Andre also won his fight in the heavyweight division.

the 1 mma fight stole the show with the kiwi guy knocking out the irishman crowd went nutss.

Main Event lived up to its hype, Baris Nezif came out looking very hungry for the win and dropped Eric in the 1st round, Baris won every round even though he had the crowd against him after showing abit to much disrespect to his opponent before the fight started he was far too strong for eric.

Great show, they said they will be organising a 10 thousand dollar winner takes all heaveyweight tournament in Novemeber, and the man they called up was Slammin Sam Greco who was in the audience:)

Jason Tramsek did not fight..aswell as Tui Wright, Mohhammed Ashna and Salim..all fights did not go ahead.

Was an entertaining night. I'm not a fan of MMA at all but it was still nice to see something different. Main and Semi-Mains were very entertaining fights.

Ray Dimachki looks like a great fighter. Like Allan said, he's very quick for a big boy. He was clearly elated after winning the title, nice to see.

A few amateur/poor technique fights but it's good to see a fight between two fighters with pure heart and determination. A good opportunity to fight in front of a big crowd.

Jason broke his leg a month or so ago....he;ll be back boxing before he kicks anything.

slight correction there vorg,
the main event between Eric and Baris was under kickboxing rules, there was no knees because Eric didn't want to fight and as i spoke with Baris earlier on he said Eric was refusing to fight knees? So I'm guessing their fight was sanctioned under KB rules.
