They have fought twice along time ago in a supa 8 and the first War on the Shore about 8 years ago, with Pixie winning both very close fights and i do mean close.
Anyway both boys are now older and my bet is this is just going to be another great battle amongst them..

Ben Tan vs K Wallace - probably fight of the night
Kershall has a deadly right leg, Ben Tan was very technical - great close fight - Ben Tan UPD

Derek Harvey vs Tom Lello - Massive heart from Tom who took on a far more experienced Derek Harvey - Derek Harvey won TKO leg kicks, Tom was hurt for quite some time but still went on. Ref called it in the 3rd i think. The Mad X never give up attitude is something special.

Taylor Harvey vs Chey. Fantastic fight, the bull is built like a brick, his right leg kick was brutal, this was an elbow fest. In the 3rd, Chey gave Taylor Harvey a qld tatoo (he stopped fighting for some reason thinking the ref was to intervene and then got caught on the top of the foreahead). It would be good to know what the scorecards were at the end of the 4th round. Would have been very close. Taylor was possessed and went on a rampage in the 5th, smashing Cheys head constantly, Chey asking for more. The crowd went wild - standing ovation, UPD Harvey.

Michael Thompson destroyed Jeff Lanes in 2 rounds. Don't think he got hit once. Knee to the mid section did some serious damage for an 8 count in the 2nd round, then he finished him with a body rip on the same spot. Clean fighter who does not stop. He would be good to see him against Beniah again to set the score then Flip Street for the winner.

Flip Street vs Pich was a good tecnhical fight, last 3 rounds to Flip.

Kurt went for the kill from the start, he looked really hungry. Got Pixie at the end of the 1st with an elbow just above the ear. Bell went just after. He did look like he would not last. Hard kicks and punches from Kurt for the next 2 rounds, then an 8 count at the end of the 3rd (right punch), 5th round, Pixie again got a knock down (punch). After that the fight was ended by one last blow (even more vicious than the others), Pixie hit the canvas quite hard. KO 5th to Kurt. Pixie has a colossal heart, to last so long after that first knock down a was huge effort.

Very well run night all in all, the MC is fantastic, the whole show gets better everytime, can’t wait for the next one.

Great night of fights, Kurt was just so strong and really hurt pixie with those punches. Pixie showed amazing heart to stay in there for 5 rounds affter being dropped hard in the first.

tAYLOR VS Bull was tied at the end of the fourth and taylor took the 5th as the bull kept wanting to eat some punches.It might look tough dropping your hands and taking punches but it doesnt score.

Tomahawk is something special, that kid is one of the best talents I have seen in a while!

I really enjoyed the Kershall vs Ben fight. Ben was a pleasure to watch and used all of his weapons so well.

Great show from Rich and Rob , cant wait for the next one.

i gave ben the first two rounds with the catch and dumps being the decisive factor in the first two.
but 3/4/5 i gave to kershall, he landed the cleaner kicks and used his hands a lot better.
just my oppinion, maybe the judges didnt like his mad tache [8D]

also one thing i was a lil bit disgusted in,
was when the fist a cuffs boy got knocked out by grant sellings boy.

grant jumped in the ring and helped the fella out and then carried him to his corner. but the boys trainers didnt seem liked they gave a **** about him, there was no urgency or even when he was standing in his corner against the ropes and struggling to keep his feet, he could not be bothered jumping in the ring to give him a hand.

i dont know if anyone else sore this but i personally was not impressed with the trainers reactions

well I was the head judge kingwaa but all judges scored that fight the same way. Kershall was landing with his right leg earlier on but ben was scoring with all of his weapons and controlling kershall alot more in my eyes.kershall nearly had ben with his punches for that one round where he bombed him but couldnt quite land that big shot. Kershall did also get that 8 count for stopping when his tooth fell out in his mouthguard. The ref confirmed the 8 count with us straight after it happened.
But yes it was a close fight no doubt.

as it seemed like he got to 4 then sent him to the corner and there was no further count.
that obviously would change the score card

Hey kingy your dead right about the fistacuffs boy! discracefull but not the first time either the trainer did the same thing in toowoomba with his heavy weight, who suffered one of the most brutal knockouts ive seen and he did nothing.it is a matter of time before one of these boys gets really hurt!

taylor work rate was awesome, he knew what he had to do to win and he did it.
you cant let your opponent hit u in the head 5-6 times and expect to win the round, you might win the tuff man award tho

Having seen Chey fight on numerous occasions, I can see him doing this, he has a no nonsense approach, throws 110% into every technique, IMHO has the hardest leg kicks of any fighter currently fighting in the Australia, and he either wins by elbow cuts and or leg kick ko, not to often he comes up against an opponent who goes the distsnce, and when he has, he has come out on the wrong side of the score cards.

His style is kill or be killed...

Having said that I trust the Qlder's liked his hardcore style, and credit to Taylor for the win. I was on record by saying it'd be stopped by legs or elbows, so well done Taylor.

Yes - Qlder's liked Chey's hardcore style very much - i did big time. Taylor's leg was taking a lot of brutal kicks, i don't know how he did it but it did not seem to bother him, maybe he was concentrating on responding to the constant barrage of flying elbows. I am still buzzing from that last round

Ben Tan vs Kershall Wallace was the best fight in my opinion.

I do not jump straight into the ring when a knock out first occurs I stay clear for the doctor and referee to do their duty. The referee has seen many KO’s and will indicate if he needs me over there until then I see no reason to rush I could see he was ok. By the time they had done so Grant had already been assisting and I was happy with that and did not feel as if I needed to do anything. My wife a trainer at fist-a-cuffs was the main corner person for the fight and she was over there as soon as she saw he wasn’t getting up.

As for Toowoomba my brother has always told me if he was KO’d not to rush over to him before he got his senses as he didn’t want me to be the first person he saw upon coming out and feel like sh-t because he thinks he let me down.

Its not that I don’t care but when it comes down to it fighters are tuff buggers. Violence, knock outs, bruising and broken bones are all possibilities that as fighters we accept before we enter. In one fight I had my collar bone broken in three places and two ribs smashed and all I wanted to do was keep fighting not look for my trainer for condolence. The fight was stopped and I was left fuming and after all that not even a medic looked at me and it wasn’t hard to see my bone sticking out and a hollow in the rib cage.

I grew up in tuff gang times and severe violence and injury was the norm so maybe my view is a little stale and could be best swayed to being more reactive to KO’s and injury to my fighters in the ring.

I see relevance in what you have said and will do what it takes to keep the public happy and be seen to be more caring and responsive to injury. Tony was not fazed about it but having said that it is probably best for the sport that I show more concern.

What a cracker of a night Tony continues to improve and starting to get into his niche. Unlucky for the KO otherwise the fight was very likely his. Good fight congratulations to both boys.

Kirsh and Ben's fight was a close fight. Both boys fought well. Congarts to Ben on the win. As for the 8 count it was due to kirsh bending down to pick up his tooth. What got knocked out was actually a crown not actually his tooth. One witch has already cost him a ****load and numerous trips to dental clinic to get it fixed, due too his choice of sport.

A reaction that cost him an 8 count. And possibly the fight. I dont know?? (depending on the judges score cards, as it was a close fight).

But yeah.. Just wanted to shed at little light on the 8 count.

Unfortunatly as a judge you have to go buy the refs 8 count as it was official. And justin was right to put the 8 count on if a fighter cant continue for any reason. The crown seemed to have broken off in his mouthguard and was annoying him so he signalled to the ref to stop.
