Yeah Mad Special Effects, cool characters but I didnt get it. Maybe I was too worried about the chick beside me... lol
We were both hoping for a great ending, but it was an anti-climax without a boooom!!!!

The special effects were mad and so were the fight scenes... but aside from that I'm a bit of a film fanatic and I sit there and dissect everything, especially the script, and the ending and the explanation of what the Matrix is and how Neo fits in and how there were like five Neo's before him and what their role is as a 'false' Messiah engineered by the 'Architect' - that was mad. My only criticism was that from the time they spoke about shutting down the 27 city power grids and overlapping that with the footage where they did it sped up the movie too much... but other than that a very clever film, clever script backed up with some of the best action sequences ever put to film.
But hey, it wont be for everyone's liking.
Can I also suggest X-Men 2... i didn't like the first X Men that much, it bored me a bit, but as soon as I saw the second one I wanted to see it again! It was awesome.

it's a trilogy... that aint the end of the saga yet. There will be one more movie later this year MATRIX REVOLUTIONS in which the following will happen:
1) Zion will be rebuilt cos right now it is destroyed
2) Neo will somehow stop all the Agent Smiths and find out what they really are
3) The Architect (who is like God) will be destroyed and humanity will be restored
4) Neo will solve the riddle of the Matrix and all the machines will be destroyed
I am only guessing that this is what will happen.. it seems only logical that this is how the story will go from here.

Sounds good.
I thought the first matrix was outstanding. One of the best films of the last decade.
Fight Club was also pretty clever I thought.

Matrix Reloaded was awesome, but I forgot about the trailer for revolutioins after the credits. Craaaaaaaap! Michael, did you see it, did anybody? Hey, at the end when neo stops those machines and ends up in a coma, does that mean his powers have been "downloaded" into his human psyche as well, meaning he can do everything he can in the matrix in the real world as well? man, what a trip. great movie I thought, and so was x-men 2. BTW, I read an interview where Van Damme said he's going for a role in x-men 3, possibly as Gambit I'd presume. Oh and Streetfighter 2 with JCVD and Dolph Lundgren is in the works, hehe. Nice.

Matrix in a matrix
Think about it
Neo felt the sentinels in the "real world"
Agent Smith took over the guy in the "real world"
I reckon that the "real world" is just another program designed by the machines to keep the humans in check.
Makes sense doesn't it?
