Man that's a sick 4 man. As much as i like spong and want him to win it's too hard to call between him and Manhoff. Will this be on PPV in N.Z?

this event is really doing my head in as it is so difficult to predict.
I will start by ruling out Chalid, never liked him much and IMO won't do enough to win 2 fights.
Melvin is a human wrecking machine and is the form fighter, improving vastly over the past 12months. Melvin will march straight into the final in good shape.

Spong vs Saki is a killer to call. Spong no doubt is all class and will have a great K-1 future but I don't see him winning this tourney due to lack of experience at K-1 and the eliminator format. Saki I believe will rough up Spong and get the win, but at some cost. I don't know well enough how Spong will handle fighters of this size and aggression over 3 rounds.

So we have Melvin and Saki in the final. I'd like to see Melvin weigh in around 95kgs as he doesn't want to be giving away too much weight to Saki. At the end of the day I'd probably call Melvin the winner due to an easier path to the Final and his great aggressive form.

Definitely a great card with many interesting fights...Remy vs the Missing link probably my most anticipated given Humble has dared question the worth of my boy Remy;).
Yokohama stadium is probably the best fighting venue in the world...steep so everyone feels like they are sitting over the ring and great acoustics.

Spong wouldnt to worried about Saki

He has a fight with Saki on Showtime in may so he preperation has just been brought forward

I still think Spong will get the title , and against Manhoef

Spong does have some tournament style experience but not of this calibre or weight. He won an 8 man for the "King of the Ring" title and a 4 man on the KO series in Auckland. Not sure if he has had any others though.

He won an A-1 Tournament in Germany too. We showed it on Fox Sports a long time ago.
