Looking for some ourselves. Most seem to be web based with a monthly fee. We would like to just buy a software package that does the sign in and membership records etc without an ongoing monthly fee. Any suggestions???

Check out Members Management
Hi Dee Rez & CJ, I think you will find that the software would be pretty damn expensive, as Hammer mentioned companies such as Members Management offer a cheaper alternative and the have heaps of other tools you can use for things like marketing, websites, contact management.

'Clubwise' is excellent. Ask for Marc Osmond. Based at Tewantin on Sunshine Coast.

We use clubwise at my work, find it to be a little slow at times... may just be because we have a large network tho???

Members Management is what we use and its very affordable and the support is great as its based is Sydney and not overseas. you can have id swipe cards and its great for sending out emails to all members. it also allows you to create a great data base.

Sydney Club "Boxing Works" has a membership system designed by a BJJ coach rodney ellis. I think he was marketing that a few years back. Could try contacting him through that club, they have a website.
