Shannon F16 v Greg Foley Thai Rules

I would love to see this fight. Shannon seems to fight anyone and Foley thinks he can beat anyone. It would be a great fight for Foley to prove he is ready to take on the big guns.

Hmm, don't know about full thai rules Koshy.
I mean how experienced would Foley be under those rules, where as Shannan is hardened to the beatings these crazy queenslanders MT guys like to dish each other up.

I like Foley, but wondering what sort of cuts he'd get under full MT.
I think he'd have to go straight out and do his best to try and KO Shannon in the first round. But that wouldn't be an easy task. Forrester is a pretty hard guy and is far from being a slouch.

I reckon Forrester would wipe the floor with Foley under modified Thai rules and even more so with Full Thai rules. The quality of oponents which Forrester has been fighting recently compared to Foley's is simply to big a gap of experience and toughness for Foley to Bridge. Go Shannon all the way.

Would be a great fight to see and a big stepping stone for Foley. I think modified thai rules would be the way to go. Foley is very prone to cuts and full thai rules would be a nightmare for him.

Shannon will be fighting in Sydney at the next J.N.I Show at Revesby Workers Club on Friday June 20.He will be fighting Ashley White the guy who K.O.ed Greg Foley in the past for his WKBF world title.
Will be fought under full rules,mmmmm interesting don't you think?

I was at the White V Foley fight. White to me looked more hardened, even though I don't think he would have def Foley had it gone the distance. So I think it's one of those things. Foley is cabable of putting on an exciting fight with Shannon I think KB rules, but in this case, I do reckon you guys are going to see a harder fight, as I feel White has a stronger chin. He took some massive shots of Foley and looked like he would drop at one stage, but managed to shake the rubber out of his legs and come back hard.

I expect you guys are going to see some blood.

Ill take f-16 by points or by cut stoppage. That said Shannon is also very prone to cuts - dose anyone remember that fight he had against the Japanese fighter. Shannon face looked lice minced meat after the fight.
