Been thinking of a thread to start for about 3 days now for something to do during surf time, so why not...

I got a set of new rims (present to self), some gym gear and a few oddments for the garden designed to improve my efficiency on weekends.:(
So lets hear it...[?]

we got one of our boys one of those Ripsticks (for those who don't know it is kind of like a skateboard but only one wheel front and back and they flex in the middle, you 'swim' like a fish and they can go uphill)...had a go and near damn broke my neck but with a little perserverence am actually now ok at it. They are a load of fun and a great test of balance...little bugger told me to P off and buy my own. Brat kid. lol.

Funny story about the Ripstick "Voice", My 4yr old got one from his Grandma! He has hardly ridden it (cause I am always on it) can't keep off it, I have even brought a new helmet as we live on a caldesac hill and there is not a lot of traffic I can get some good speed! now that i have worked how to ride it.. BUT NOT STOP IT...

Highlights include an awesome book called Living Green..I'll never look at anything the same, world's a much more toxic place than I ever dreamed about. Also got a compost bin (from my brother who has a masters in environmental protection) A new bbq which is pretty flash from my father in law, a cool hands of stone t shirt from my girl, lounging pillows for win I play play station and a king of the cage dvd which had pretty sh*t fights on it but was a thoughtful gift none the less. I also got about 5 kilos from all the food I ate which I'll have to lose in the New Year......hope everyone here had fun and got plenty of the stuff that really counts time withfriends, family and another year of good health.

Richie, the hands of stone t shirt your girl got you, is that hands of stone as in Roberto Duran hands of stone?? If so, god damn it, I want one too.

"and the underbelly dvd set.."

Just got back from watching the Underbelly box set at a mates house, he bought it for his sister, with the purpose of immediately borrowing it. Haha, cheeky prick.

Hey Supermario... I think so, they call it the Duran Tee, it's from a clothing label called Undeafeated, with a big print of two bandaged fists and the phrase Hands of Stone right across it.

I've attached a link to it. It's pretty dope, I was pumped on it as I'd never seen it around before.
