Hey guys and fellow fighters and trainers,

What and how is the best way to warm up before weight training and/or kickboxing?

I am currently doing a bit of skippin and working the speed ball to loosen up.

Any other ideas?

janer have you tried riding a bike or a 10 minute run??? i always run before weight training with abit of streching

Stretching is vital. Don't cut corners on stretching especially if your going to do kickboxing. Not only stretching your muscles but rotating all your joints like knees, ankles and shoulders. A few kilometres on the excercise bike to warm up and warm down is always good.
