A NAME THAT NOT MANY MIGHT KNOW OF,BEING THAT HE ONLY HAD 4 FIGHTS AND RECENTLY UNDERGOING A SHOULDER OPPERATION.Q TELLS ME THAT HE'S BEEN IN LIGHT TRAINING AND THAT AS SOON AS HE FEELS THE SHOULDERS RIGHT IT'S BACK TO THE RING! IT WOULD BE FAIR TO SAY THAT THIS BOY WOULD (DESTROY ANYONE)FROM 62/67kgs WHEN IN FORM, IF YOU THINK ZAMBIDIS HITS HARD,THIS BOY IS A SLEEPING PILL.
IF ANYONE ELSE KNOWS HIM PLEASE LET ME KNOW YOUR FEELINGS.
THANK YOU

this guy sounds like the tyson of kickboxing
Gold
This is Evans brother we are talking about, if so, then he'll have great potential if being trained by Evan. I trained with Evan once at Fitzroy 3 years ago, I am still sore.. hehe
How old is this Harry?

Guys - the kid is small in size, eg height - but at the end of the day it means nothing - Evan was(is) a great fighter - world champ - who trained under the great Dana G - I'm confident this kid will be on Tariks shows in no time - and will do serious damage
NOT upto Zams levels - Dog Flogga - he is strong but not quite there yet (ie with ZAM)
by the way - have you flogged any good Alsations lately? I need one for security work!lol -

JKLA the boy is 24,hes obviously not at ZAM's level only due to the fact that he hasn't ZAM'S ring experience yet.But let me tell you once he chips away the rough edges the boy will be on fire!
KRAMA,he will be doing some serious damage allright but as for fighting on tarick's shows he tell's me he won't be going to another one! let alone fight there!

Harry is not even good enough to step into the ring with Tony Antonio but you class him with Zam. I Judge his last fight and he just won on split point against Lou Korica's Boy. Stop posting bull****.
If he want's to have a come back fight, I am sure I will be the one matching him so lets just see what happens.

There is no need for jealousy michael, you know what they say fighters are only as googd as their trainers so i understand why your boys are going knowhere. There is no need for me to blow wind up HP's arse because anyone whow actually knows him would agree with me.The only thing HP lacked was fitness due to the stupidity of young age,(eg)partying.4bouts 4wins 3ko's not bad for a chain smoker.
The irony is that, you would be the first to put your hand up to have him on your show, hmmmmm have you ever had a show worth watching? The only place i see this boy going would be to johny scida's show.May be even training there. ps id love to se what he'd do to your boys!

In response to your post Mr Vurkovic ive actually trained along side young Harry Paskalidis at fitzroy starsand i also used to be a close acquantance of his , ive been to most of his fights. The fight you are actually talking about as being his last fight was actually his first and that took place 7 years ago.Harry was a young and very uncondionted fighter who took the fight on 6 days notice and still managed to beat a hard little asian boy who was trained by Lou koric. He has since had 3 fights 3 wins and 3 kos one of those kos being over former australian ameteur boxing champion Shane carpenter. His last fight was actually against a interstate
fighter who he knocked out in the first round for an eastcoast title.
Its actually a shame Micheal because i had respect for you as a trainer for the simple fact that you have produced some good fighters
like Arthur, sot, and moggy but its hard to retain that respect when you personally attack young fighters with real potential.Maybe you have some sort of personal problem with the young bloke but thats no excuse
to post incorrect infomation to try make the kid look like a dud
because beleive u me mate hes anything but.Actually the last time i seen him spar was with a fellar by the name James Crayton who was ranked top ten in the ibf the kid held his own and actually mixed it up with James who he himself was very impressed with the kid.
And as far as antonio goes i think he wouldnt appreciate you including
his name in that contexed ,being an acquantance of tonys he actually holds Harry in high reguard seening as though they trained together for a while.
In future Micheal if you are going to make a derogortry post like that i think it would be wise to get your facts right mate.

Tony Antonio is a good fighter and has proven hinself in current fights not as much can be said about harry who you blow the trumpet for. Sparring and fighting are 2 different things. I would be quite happy to prove my point on the next John Scida Promotion (which by the way I Match all the fights for and also have a large part of running the show). I have a fighter who weighs 63kgs with no kickboxing, and a hand full of boxing fights and is only 17 years old. How about you go and ask your MATe if he wants to fight a KID.
By putting Harry up in Zam's class you guys show just how stupid you are.
How about it brown finger put your mate in against my 17 year old kid.
and who would put a fighter in the ring who chain smoked, lacked fitness & was a party animal, well I don't think I would get jealous of a fighter like that.

Vukovic - you have a reputation of having an egocentric mouth thats bigger than your gut
do us all a favour and let Arthur Tsakonis train with the respectable Paul Fyfield so he can have a chance of becoming a world champ -
I believe you had another fighter by the name of Con 'bodily harm' Grivas who you bouted as a world champ - this is the trainer who sent an amateur up to QLD to fight the legendary Scott Bannan - who proceeded to completely kick the **** out of Mr 'bodily harm ' and after having the fight stopped via some clown throwing in the towel - the best part was when Scott threw the 'fake' world title belt in the bin claiming there are too many bull**** sanctioning bodies and he was not a world champ for beating Mr bodily harm - well donw Vukovic (if it was you otherwise I apologise for being misinformed)
by the way love the '$200,000 bet scam with Solak
If only you knew

Is this how you match all your fights Vukovic, I tell you this the one thing that frustrates me most about this sport. Why do we as patrons of the sport put up with crap like this, a so called trainer/promoter using a forum to throw life lines to save his ailing career! Please Michael allow me to ask you a question, what was your fight record? If you ever had one! These people who claim to run the sport know nothing about the fundamentals, rather than using the sport to empower people and change peoples lives, they continue to use people to line their pockets!!! By no means am I naive, as I trained and was associated with the late Dana Goodson for over 11 years, seen many champs come and go! Real champs! Its record speaks for itself, it was the most successful gym in the Southern hemisphere. The mere mention of Harry in that manner, proves how ill informed one is, your only recollection of him was 7 years ago. I think if actually ask anyone who's fought before, like Dave Hedgecock, Stan Loginidis, Paul Fyfield or John Scida to characterize Harry you'd have a more accurate account. As Harry has trained with or fought their boys respectively with very good results. In hindsight, I suppose this being a public forum and all entitles anyone with an internet connection to have an opinion regardless of how little they know. In my opinion, wait for Harry to recover fully, and then maybe if you wish to match the bloke consult his management first! (That's right Talent equates to special attention and privlidges)

For starters micheal who said that Harry was at Zams level. If you actually read the topic properly the only corollation that was made
between Harry and Zam was punching power so stop once again fabricating information to suit your futile argument.Maybe you need to get thicker coke bottles mate because again if you had read the article properly it states that the kid has just had a shoulder operation so i really doubt that he will be ready to fight on scidas next show. You also insulted some members by calling us stupid well you really have to ask yourself whos the stupid one you talk about some 17 yr old kid with no kick expirience fighting a boy whos spared hard!
on a regular basis with the likes of Nick Tetoris,Jim Tteoris,Tibor Vermes,Chris Collard, brother Evan Paskalidis and the list goes on
not to mention his last 3 fights being kos and if i have to remind you again one of those being against former ameteur Australian boxing champion shane carpenter so im shore that your febile attempt to belittle or some what try and use bull#### scare tactics has misrebly
failed. As soon as Harrys ready to fight again believe me micheal after this ill make sure your the first to know MATE!

Very well said (if u only knew),michael at the end of the day even if harry was a close friend of mine do you think i would bother making a fool of myself by promoting a nobody.I need not say any more about harry because those who really know him, know i dont speak rubbish.
If your 17yr old is so good the whey is he un heard of?
Please contact harry's bro and get the ball rolling.
Lets just wait and see!

Correction Boys
I Judged Harry's fight with Vu Huynh in Nov 1996. It was a draw, and one Judge gave it to Vu one gave it a draw and I gave the fight to Harry.
His other fight was agains Rone Rahme (Rone's second fight)03/sep/99 harry won tko.
& Matt Friswell( Matts first fight ) 20 June 99 Harry won KO
The only fight I do not know about is the intersate one.
So Dog flogger he has a record off 4 fights 3 wins 1 draw.
All the new entry Names are the same people hiding behind there bull****. Harry had potential as a fighter 4 years ago but he is a real long way from being as hard and strong as Zam.
I would love to take up all offers to fight in future. Just give me a call.
as for world champions go Krama- Kon was only a south pacific champion and it was Scott Bannons show so he put up his own world titles. So if they where bull****, their the ones he had already.
You should ask him who sanctioned the show and who he paid the fee's to.

Mike -re Kon - what are some of the fights he had, I did recall some bouts in the local halls, did he fight anyone with hardcore credibility? not being sarcastic just like an update -
I heard from Scot's camp that it was a vacant world title with an unrelated sactioning body

How are you Micheal this is Harry here i was told about this web site
from a friend of mine late this afternoon.Just reading through the posts and i was actually quite suprised at all the people who actually rememberd me it was quite flatering for a guy thats only had 4 fights to be spoken about in the manner you guys have apart from one exception and thats you micheal.Id just like to know micheal have i offended you in any way shape or form for you to bag me the way you have.Truth is micheal i dont recall insulting you bagin you or having any altercation with you for that matter so whats with all the sledging mate.As far as facts go the fight with Vu was my first kb fight wich was a draw (correct)but a controversial decision seeing as though i droped vu in the third and he had been given an 8 count in the first.I actually appreciated your decision and remember saying that you were the only decent judge on that panel. You on the hand have literully baged the absolute sh## out of me and tried to make me look like a fighter that you know im not why mate?
The fight you over looked was my first boxing fight wich was against a kid by the name of shane carpenter who was a vaba victorian ameteur boxing champ who i beat in a points dec although i droped him very heavily in the 3rd,but they didnt stop it.He was saved by the bell.
Another thing micheal if its not enough you bag me you go and drag my
brother into this crap a bloke thats held in very high reguard as being a great fighter from the biggest of names e.g. STAN LONGINIDIS
SAM GRECO,NICK TALAKOURIS,NICK TETORIS and the names go on.Look micheal im pretty pissed off mate for the simple fact i never slammed you in the past and im not gunna start now if thats the way you feel
fair enough mate i cant do anything about that but alls ive got to say
is that if you can attack and put people down like that for no reason
then it looks to me you have to make some adjustments to your attitude
mate.P.S.As soon as my shoulder comes back to scratch thers a good chance ill make a comeback (4yrs is a pretty long time)just to set the record straight about a come back.

Krama- I will post Kon's fights on the site.
Kon Grivas was a good Australian level fighter but the truth is he did not give 30% effort when he fought Scott. Not disrespecting Scott he is a good fighter. I wasn't disapointed with the loss, Just unhappy that Kon did'nt give it a real go.

Guys,
About the Belt In The Bin incident.
All due respects to Scott. If you look through this message board and ax, you'll see that I'm a big fan. And am hoping he'll return to the sport.
I just wanted to say this,
Scott's point was sort of lost to me, when soon after he fought a title defense against someone whom I reckon Con Grivas would have whipped.
Just want to make this clear,
I'm in no way critizing Scott, as he had nothing to do with the fighter selection. I believe the sanctioning body did that.
The point I am trying to make though, is that I don't respect the major sanctioning bodies no more or less than our local ones.
If the fight against Con was somehow not up to scratch for a world title fight, then I reckon the international fight we saw later was absolutely no better. Scott totally wiped the floor with the bloke.

Just a quick Note that I have spoken to harry By phone today and he is right, Both him and Evan don't deserve to get baggedabout their fights. Their not the idiots making these comments.
Harry has expressed his interest in fighting and I will be happy to Match him with the right opponent in his class.
The problem which ****s me is that you guys get out there and pump harry up with these comments and when it comes the time to match Harry its me who looks for the opponent who would most suit Harry ability.
The more you make Harry bigger the harder it is to match him in his class.
Ps Harry I have taken back what I said about Evan I was wrong Sorry. I was trying to get to the wrong people.

IK VOL.8 NO1
Quotes Michael Shiavello
"Bannon unleashed his salvos from the opening bell.It was
evident that Grivas was not in the Queensland's class - nowhere near it."
"But before Bannon could wind up the cranium cracker,Grivas corner threw in the towel."
Quotes Scott Bannon
"I take my hat off to Kon Grivas,he is a tough boy with a good future and he had the guts to step in with me,but I can't call myself a world champion for beating him."
My question is...why would a sactioning body....let alone his own trainer....let him be involved in a such a mismatch?

I appreciate your apology and the withdrawrell of the comments in regaurds to me and my brother.Cant wait to come back and pick up where i left off koing em!
I've seen Harry's eastcoast title fight and thats all I needed to see. Thats one smart fighter who can bang!!! I watched a tape of that fight over n over and if you're quick enough you can see H.P. think, nothing is waisted and his execution is superb. Also, did I mention he can BANG!!??
Harry, you're a pleasure to watch, good luck with the shoulder, can't wait to see you back in the ring.
I honestly believe that this bloke can go all the way and when its time for his comback I'll put my money where my mouth is.
Anyone taking bets for a first round knockout?<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
