He will fight a 55kg fight with a boy ranked number 2 in Japan at the same weight division his name is Yasuhiko Abe.
Also on the card will be Judd Cornwall also from the Strikeforce gym he is matched at 70kgs with another Japanese fighter..

Watched the fights in HK, Results of the Aussies as follows:
Judd Cornwall fought a Japanese fighter. From the get go Judd pounded the japanese fighters lead and back leg, and also worked up to the body with kicks. The Japanese fighter was good with his hands, and followed up a good groin kick with a barrage in the 4th? round. He fired about 2 very good hand combinations, backing Judd into a neutral corner each time, and that kept him in the fight. judd came home strong though smashing the legs a bit more. The fight was justly awarded a draw.
aaron also fought a good japanese fighter. Although the fighter seemed like a kickboxer, he showed that he could elbow and grapple, and had strong body and leg kicks. aaron used all weapons and pounded the guy, but seemed slightly off his game. Aaron landed very good body kicks and some beautiful strong knees. However the Japanese fighter was firing back strong and even threw his own elbows to counter.
Because Aaron knows Japanese love Queensland, he decided in the third? it was time to give him a permanent souvenir to remember him by, and he landed a beautiful elbow that gave the Japanese a nice big vertical cut on his forehead and the fight was stopped. It was a decent cut that would require several stitches (in my guess about 8 stitches?)
Well done Mark, Aaron and Judd! Aussie Aussie Aussie!!!!

Hi all well i am now in Bangkok for a little R & R after the fanatstic event last nite.
Firstly Heavy thank you mate for your help in the corner, and as he said the fights were great to watch for us and TS2 actuall cut his boy twice one on the eybrow which got 2 stitches and the one on the forehead that got 7 stitches.
All in all i must admit it took Aaron a little while to work out this boy but to the Japanese boys credit he just kept coming foward so it was only a matter of time before the elbow was going to hit him, and when it landed we all knew it was over.
And at the end Aaron was in the ring for the usual 20 minutes getting photos with all of Hong Kong...
Great show as always and some new friends from China nad Japan, what more can we ask..

Cheers Mark Pease

Na, but seriously congrats to both Azza and Judsanklai. Sounds like both boys fought well. Azza even when not on his game can stop world class fighters by Tko. He's becoming a real star in Hong Kong, pretty much destroying everyone the hk promoters are putting in front of him. The people of Hong Kong have just about claimed him as there own.
