1st) Sam Greco.
We never really got to see him fight at his peak in Australia.
The crowning final was a brawl! Carl Bernardo??? Well what can I say.
That Topuz guy! Same again.

2nd) Louie Iosifidis
This guy was entertaining! Left the sport too soon!

3rd) Tony Hill
In my opinion 1st Aussie to really take it to the Thai's.

and lastly

Abud Sayeh! I beleive this guy learnt his Kickboxing skills from watching the Jerry Springer show!

:) Still kicking strong at 42!

B.)He had the potential to become as great as Steve Vick and Ian Jacobs. He retired too soon, and I think he will remain Aussie kickboxing's biggest enigma because of it, but he was great nonetheless.

::Marcus Mangan V Sanapar Noi
What you say is TRUE,
Although that fight was the only plain kickboxing rules fights that Sanapar ever fought with no knees and no elbows.
Would've been a different ending to the story if it hadn't just been kick-punch-kick-punch

A- Nugget

B- loved watching those knees go to work

and also

A- Tony Hill

B- the man was made of iron.saw him take a headkick from a thai at jupiters that echoed through the hall but it didnt look like it fazed him!

Kurt Finlayson

-

Because he was the WMC #1 contender for the world title for about two years & only lost both world title fights via narrow point decisions. Also, David Copperfield couldn't have pulled a more impressive vanishing act that Kurt did, last year.

P/MONEY, True it was only kickboxing but this is the same Marcus Mangan who, around the same time went 5 rnds ftr with Sangtien- [although
it did resemble a kickbox fite but still.] and also came to QLD and dare i say "bashed" a very in form Tony Hill inside 3rnds. jmo. Indeed Sanapar was a gr8 fighter but...so were these 2. jmo. :)

Al .....

you couldn't have put it better.I went along to that show at the RNA expecting Hill to take it out. What transpired was an awesome display
of technigue and suprising power from a lanky Mangan.I think he broke Tony's ribs early in the fight. Not long after that I think Olsen from W.A ended Hill's career.

Mangan for me was the best " thai stylist " to come out of N.S.W
and a special mention to Dale Middleton, he gave Sanpar Noi & Nugget
some great battles.

cheers Spada

No, I don't have a copy of that show, and yes it was a Jim Cass promo.

Mitch O'Hello fought Dana Goodson's Paul Robinson in the main event.
Chris Allen was postered to fight Tony Hill in the semi main event.
Allen pulled out of the fight and Mangan ( gave away a few kilos )
proceeded to take apart Tony.

Tony Hill could take some punishment,as proved in his battles against all those thais.

cheers Spada
