Any predictions guys?
I think it's going to be a good test of Paul's chin.
Peter Graham was asked who his hardest hitting opponent was, and Graham named Clay.......even after fighting Hunt.
So it should be an interesting contest of speed and agility v brute power.

i cant wait for this one.
Why the big hype? Clay was beaten at No Respect eaisily by Fadi.
I am a big fan of Pauls. But he has to win this fight convincinly to mke his mark in the heavy weights, if he loses can he my have to rethink his future. Also why does Clay get a second chance to quilify for the K1 final?
My predictions - Paul by TKO. Paul has the reach, speed, the height and certainly the power of his kicks to overwelm Clay. As long as he keeps his guard up, chin down he will be fine.

Paul has got good high kicks...and good knees...but Clay does have a hard head.... stamina will be Clay's down fall.

Mick,
You've actually seen HYPE?
Man, I think this has been the least talked about Solak event since I started following.
Personally, I think Clay lost at No-Respect to himself.....fitness.
Hadara wasn't KO'd by Hunt, and I knew he wouldn't be by Clay. Hadara is a tough as nails spoiler. Even if he doesn't win an event, he can make a champion fighter at elite level look very very ordinary. Granite chin and too much heart for his own good.
I honestly reckon Clay should have a good think about where he wants to go with his kickboxing. I am a big fan of his and have been since the first time I saw him fight. I personally feel, that he has as much potential as Hunt did when he first struggled that time to beat Chris, and was loosing to Briggs and Ronnie Sefo. Clay, get fit buddy....you'd have true potential at world K1 level if you came down a bit in weight.

Guys, before the NO RESPECT comp, Clay was not able to train due to an injury.
Clay had sparred with some big russian boxer who had punched and crushed the bone on the side of his head, above the ear. Clay had saugery and had about 3 weeks before the comp after it, he was not able to trian at all from his injury, but he still enterd the comp, only 60% healed and 40% ready/fit to fight, in my opinion. His injury isn't even yet healed, but he is fighitng tonight. And good luck to him.
Yea.
