Yeh I saw it also this morning.

I'm a bit confused though as I thought Steve Mckinnon recently won that title?

I know Ramazan stopped Steve McKinnon in the 4th round and claimed WMC Intercontinental Muay Thai Heavyweight title on December 8, 2007 in Sydney. He hasnt fought him for the WBC

Yep and Steve McKinnon won the WBC Super Cruiserweight title against Ashwin Balrak in Jamaica in June.

So does that mean the WBC Champions page is outdated?

No it means that either Steve McKinnon has vacated the title (after 2 months of winning it?), the WBC has stripped him, they have made a mistake in offering a title that is not available or the weight class for the Ramazan fight is wrong.
Would have to be one of those...

The only thing i can think of is if Steve Mckinnon vacated it to fight in heavyweight... have no idea unless they made a mistake

Why is there a need for an Interim world title when the Champion is fully fit and willing to fight?

Sounds like an excuse to charge sanctioning fees.

Like ppl said its not the body title that makes it worth while its the fighter you beat for it

Its sad when they can strip a fighter of a title & leave it open for anther two fighters to fight for the title its crap
