* Before we made the challange, I had spoken to John on the phone about Wendy fighting Pepita up Here. You weren't present so you should have nothing to say about this.

* With the challange we made we didn't call Wendy any names, so we would appreciate if you stop the name calling, In your opinion Pepita is ducking Wendy, so say that, make it known, but stop with the name calling.

*For Medical reasons with our eldest daughter which i'm not going to discuss on the net, we carn't travel at the moment so if any Qld promoters want to pick this fight up we are all for it. We wouldn't expect the fight to happen on our promotion but we would be happy to put it on a netural show.

its nothing like the illegal pit fights or other dog fights portrayed in the media

the dogs involved are a specific breed - tosa

these dogs are very well bred and very skilled fighters and the fights are held with very strict rules

its not blood and guts at all

so before you start mouthing off at me for liking something from another culture that is centuries old , i suggest you go and see it first

Hey im all keen for dog fights i used to have a bullmast (sp) cross
Only 40cm high but used to rip right into every other dog in the street so had to give him away
The guy who took him said it was the best dog he even had
Lost some work over haven the dog due to him working at rainbow beach as a builder & all the other builds dogs were getting chewed up to often (opps)
He didnt even worry about locking his group A SS VN when he bring it to brissy just leave the windows down & the dog in it

the rules are quite strict and the dogs are quite skilled

if a dog yelps , barks , shys or pulls away then it loses

the only injuries i could see on the dogs from the fights were bite marks on their ears , no where near as bad as evander holyfield`s ear after the tyson fight, just basic punture wounds and no broken bones or cuts that need stitching

i have seen muay thai fighters with much worse but you dont it call it barbaric , brainless or cruel

yes, It will be held on a JWP tournament, I guess around September. No idea of the rules. I know wendy wants FTR 5x3. No idea what Pep wants to fight by though. Still a ways off too yet.
