Wow that guy is lanky, anyone know what weight this fight was?

Goes to show that yod is as good with his hands as he is with his legs.
Always cool no matter the situation.

Yod destroyed that guy. The KO was inevitable from the start of the fight.

Artem had a lazy guard with his hands half down, kept his chin up for the whole fight instead of tucking it in, and tried trading with Yod in close quarters instead of backing off and using his range. He didn't have the power to trade with Yod so the KO was bound to happen.

He landed the last techinique in almost all of their first round exchanges though. Good kick and knee counters to whatever Yod threw. Don't know why he chose to stay in the corner at the start of the second though.

Yod needs to be put in the K-1.

Wonder what the floor matt was made of
With all the painted/printed logos on it the fighters still had good grip on there feet

Artem was going well until backed into that corner.

Yod has a chin too. End of first round Artem lands (what looks like from the angle) 2 clean left hooks without fazing Yod.

Boy..@ 1.90cm (6ft 3) he made Yod look tiny.

I think Yod would dominate K-1 for sure. Would love to see a Buakaw/Yodsaenklai K-1 Max final !! How good would that be !
Yod's punching power would win him most of his fights in K-1 , that is without relying too much on technique.

When i was training at the WMC in Samui the Russian Artem was there and i had a chat to him best i could he didnt know much english about this fight coming up with Yod i said to him a hard fight coming up he said no easy easy and said must be strong think positive and i will win i know he didnt win but watching him train and spar and the lads really good and still young can see him going far in the future for sure those Russians are hard nuts he would be someone i would like to see in the next contender.

you think?
Souwer and Masato for a start are far better boxers than Yod.
I think he would do well but with guys pressuring him on the inside for 3 rounds you might be surprised that Yod isn`t as superhuman as many think. At least in the K-1 ranks

At the start he was looking like a difficult opponent 4 Yod...but as usual 'the computer' worked him out.

Like the new I.K. mag. we can only hope that Yod. and Buakaw will happen at some time.

Seen Artem training and fighting in Samui also, he's only a young guy but will a serious challenger in years to come.

He will learn from this fight.
