K-1 MAX LIVE ON MAIN EVENT ... JULY 7
Reasons to Watch K-1 MAX LIVE on Main Event
F) YASUHIRO KIDO -- JAPAN`S NEW MUAY THAI STAR
Many of you may not be too familiar with the name Yasuhiro Kido... but you will be hearing about it for a long time to come.
Kido is the 26 year old who has set Max in Japan alight this year when he won the K-1 Japan tourney seemingly out of nowhere. The tourney was action-packed and in the final against Hayato, Kido was a monster, KOing his rival in the first round after having defeated Andy Ologun and Keiji Ozaki in style earlier in the night.
Kido is a Muay Thai stylist and it tells... he loves to use his knees to great effect -- just look at the way he knee-****d Korean K-1 Max champion Chi Bin Lim in just 30 SECONDS in the Final 16, knocking Lim out with one of the best knees to the jaw you`re ever likely to see.
Kido comes into July 7 on a ripping 7-fight winning streak, but now it`s time for him to meet Max`s A TEAM. How will Kido fare in the bigtime?
Kido is full of energy... he is hungry... he is on a roll and even though he doesn`t have Masato`s movie-star looks, the fans have embraced him. He`s funny too. Did you see his speech after he knocked out Lim in Hiroshima?
As he bounced around excitedly... "Wow... Wow... Wow... I mean Wow... Wow... Oh Wow... Hahah... I won! Wow.. Wow!!"
It was hilarious and also refreshing to see just how much his move to K-1 Max`s top flight has meant to Kido.
I really like him. He`s great to watch and uses all his weapons well. He could be a threat to Kyshenko. Mark my words.
Here is his AWESOME KO of Chi Bin Lim... the KO happens at 03:42 in the video... wow wow wow!
