Castro unlike Mundine's oppenents is a real risk and a danger fight for any top tener. Mate, check his record and take a look at a few of his previous fights. Top job by Paul Briggs who boxed the pants off him and didn't get sucked into castro's game.

not sure about a huge risk as castro lost to any ranked fighter he ever fought (and even Roberto Duran a few years ago, Duran is at least 50!!!) but Briggs sure boxed nicely.

And his lac-laster fight plan.. he threw punches from his knees. Even the ref got out of the way... Serious threaat?? Yeah as if briggs couldt see his apache helicopter punches from a mile away... What a pathetic joke. What a crap turnout... Briggs cant draw a crowd. Yeah he does this and helps all the kids out and blah blah blah... But he cant draw a crowd. All those people with seats got in for free just so it looked good for the camera.. As for the teared seating, there were alot of people wearing green clothes <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> For some reason when the main event was on, the turned off the lights....why? poor turnout for such a Huuuuuuuuuuuuggggggggge event. Seriouslym boxing is a joke. How can you become a WORLD CHAMPION when you fight bums? Boxing champions are dead. What a joke. come on, cant you see it? No one turned up... Mental Telepephy at its best! I wish i hadnt of wasted $3 petrol to head down to the local pisser. Mundine and Briggs... They can sleep in the same bed and share that sticky date cake. Serious friggin joke.

Mask you know nothing about boxing so shut up.Castro fought in a heavier weight in his last fight so he had to lose weight to fight Briggs.He has only lost to World Champions and the only time he was stopped was a communication break down cause he don't speak english.He has fought RJJ and many world champions so give him some credit Briggs took the risk unlike Mundine Briggs steps up so have a nice day and learn something about boxing one day.

Castro went the distance with Paul Briggs, he never recieved a count, was wobbled slightly and even if he did start to knock up over the last couple of rounds, he was still punching back. So how can he be called a bum, when he kept Pauls concentration on the job at hand. It would be a different story if he was koed on 2 and / or he was dropped for a count etc, but he was not.

This was a good fight for Paul, because he had to out think and use his skills to win. Even Paul would say that Castro was "no" pushover.

As for the chicken legs comment, they "did" hold him up for the entire fight didnt they!
