Ben Edwards fights in japan this saturday

Hey every one, just like to let you know i got the call up to fight on the next Titans show in Tokyo this saturday.

My opponent is Nabu Hahashi ( Andy Hug's last ever opponent ) he has been aronud for a long time,had a lot of k1 fights and has fought every one Aerts,ignashov etc.

He is about the same size as me. I am exited to be fighting another international opponent. I had already started training for Hoppa so my fitness is good, i can't wait! :)

Ben lost on points. Blew his shoulder out first combo of first round and went on fighting with one arm. Said it was a good fight and a great experience.

Not sure. Ring side doctor said it was the AC joint, which usually takes a minimum of 6 weeks to heal. But I doubt you can fully diagnosed the problem just by looking at it. So I guess we will find out when he gets back Wednesday

Hey everyone,

It looks like its my rotator cuff,find out for sure when i get home.

after the 1st left hook in my 1st combo of the fight my shoulder started crunching and hurting pretty bad. i can barely move it today, i knew it was serious as soon as i did it.


it was a tough fight under the circumstances,the guy has the best chin of anyone i have fought. i landed some of the biggest clean shots ive ever thrown and none of them fazed him for more than a second. all i could do was throw straight rights and right uppercuts followed by leg kicks which didn't seem to bother him either.

you win some you lose some ;)

despite the injury it was an awsome experience to finally fight in japan and of all places one of the halls in the tokyo dome which im looking at right now outside my hotel window :)

just a quick thank you to everyone for their well wishes and ray matsumura for the oppourtunity.
