I think you underestimate Murat. I have had the pleasure to do quite a bit of sparring with Murat although that was a couple of years ago. He is very strong and land some big shots from some unexpected angles. If he comes in fit I think he can be very competitive with most.

Thank you guyz for your opinionz

because murat mehmet is my older brother and that i think if he's super fit he has a chance to win the fight he just needs to be fit enough to last five roundz , but i reckon he is capable of knocking him out because ben smullen did ko tony antonio which my brother came a draw with and he was not fit to even fight on that night

So thankz again!!!

Hey umz I didn't realise you were Murat's brother. You probably saw me sparring your brother at Tarik's gym about two years ago when you and your father were there watching. I was Amir's friend from Queensland. I remember we used to have some killer sparring sessions. I was in your brothers corner with Amir and Nayef the night he fought that McFadyen guy. I had my first fight on the same night and I remember everytime I got caught in the clinch I kept seeing your father in the crowd giving me thumbs up and cheering, it was pretty funny.
Anyway say hello to your father and wish Murat all the best for his upcoming fight.

UMZ,

When was Murat's last fight?

I haven't seen him in the ring for a fair while, probably early 2001 at the Casino.

Yeah umz, i tried to keep training up here in Townsville but it wasn't the same without Amir and Tarik and everybody.
I had one fight up here in July last year that I trained myself for that I won by decision. My hands have improved a lot but my kicks have suffered.
I am supposed to have four amateur boxing fights next month followed by a shot at Golden Gloves if I can get fit and find a comfortable weight.

as i said tony would be to good for murat. tony was to swift for murat. murat should have stuck to him like glue, but its experience and murat needs more of it before fighting top fighters. keep it up murat your making progress with every fight.

Great match by both fighters. Anotoniou showed more experince by geting the smart points. Mehmet showed carrege with great left and right hooks. But i think we need to see a re match of this fight in a few mouths to come. If Murat had more experience i think he would be the better fighter at the end of the day. Match was called a draw even dow Tarik Solak steped in and awarded the trophy to Antoniou. So on the record its a DRAW
