The loyalty of kickboxing has to fight one more fight. Its not fair for him to go out cause of a broken nose! Amir must fight one more fight and untill then he HAS NOT capped off a great and influential career!!!

BRING AMIR BACK IN THE RING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS - WHy do great things have to end? We are entering a new era :(

Yeah Jenk may have one, but he was nackered... I guess they saw Amir was in better condition so he went on.

Yeah it was a great fight but I also agree that I thought Jenk did enough to win.

I think Jenk won the extra round, i couldn't see how Amir won the last round. But Jenk was stuffed, so I don't know how he would have gone against Cope.

Amir held the ISKA world titles in 3 different weight divisions at the same time. But everything comes to an end. He was a great fighter but was having a little trouble with Cope in his last fight. What do you think he would have done with Cope 5 years ago.

PS. I would love to see an official retirement fight in Melbourne. He is not what he once was but can still go out with a bang.

G'day gurus - in his day - Prince Amir had the same effect Zam is having now - untouchable and unbeatable - however as stated all good things must come to an end -
we was a great fighter in his day - but will struggle with top end fighters now
lets not have another Stan repeat - let the guy retire with dignity - dont bring him back to have him chopped down
he will be remembered as one of the greats.

The best fight I have seen Prince Amir in was against Marcus Mangan, now that was a ripper of a fight with both being great fighters. Amir won the fight after splitting Marcus’s forehead open, from my eyes I'm sure Marcus would have won the fight but never really came back after the cut and was very disappoint with himself.

Now that would be a great re-match

Prince Amir was a great one. Id love to see him fight again. As a fighter i respect him. However having met him quite a few times i cant say the same about him as a person. Arrogance is his trademark, but anyway...
Since he was so eager to fight Zambidis before Zam started destroyin the fighters one by one, id love to see that!
Who wouldnt?

ThaiBoxer - Zam would destroy him simple as that - 5 years ago - who knows, but now - no chance - Zam ate Behic for breakfast twice and Amir struggled against him -
Unfortunately I've heard the same about Amir's personal side - I haven't met the bloke - so unfarly I'm only commenting on hear say which can in itself be unreliable.

I thought Amir's best fight was one I saw with Chris Allen!

(If only I have a copy of it - to rewatch!!)

I would though, in both hey-days love to see a dream matchup..
Prince Amir vs Wayne Parr!!.. sick!

Anyway, enough of my dreaming,

I was at Prince Amir's first ever kickboxing fight in melbourne... It was at Dallas brooks hall and as soon as he won, he used his trademark splits on the corner ropes of the ring!!!

What a legend...

I still have the braveheart poster of Gurkan, TIbet and Prince Amir standing next to Tarik... On the bottom of the poster it reads

"take any challeneges from anywhere around the world with the fighters above boxing/kixkboxing"

Thaiboxer,

I'd love to see it as well, but think it would be very silly of Amir as a first fight since Max Oceanina 01.

I honestly think Amir V Alexy would be a huge draw fight for both Melbourne and Sydney.

Wow Thaiboxer, I'm surprised at the arrogance comment.
I don't know him very well, and don't know him well enough to dispute this, but every time I've spoken to him, he's sounded like Gentleman, and has been extremelly generous of his time when I see him at events being asked for numerous pictures with fans and their children etc.

Thaiboxer and Krama,
I knew Amir well and he is about the least arrogant and one of the nicest people I've ever met. He is true gentleman and an absolute legend.
Janer I've got the same poster that Amir signed for me when I left Melbourne.

Arrogant? Amir? You must have the wrong person. Amir is one of the true GENTLEMEN of the sport... there are some arrogant pricks when you get to know the fighters behind the scenes, but AMIR is not one of them. He has always been one of the true, polite and humble gentlemen of the sport for my liking.

Cheers

Janer I remember the poster well - funny thing is, NSW took up the challenge a few years back - the outcome - they were ALL smashed back to Melbourne -
I didnt see the fight but read about it in IK Magazine - it started with Kanj getting ko'd completely, as they described, a sickening Ko form Shane Starr - this supposedly freaked the boys, so next Ozkan withdrew in the 2nd 3 rd round in his fight, stating his legs were stuffed, at this stage, our Hero Tarik said if Amir loses his fight, Tarik will quit as a trainer etc, and guess what, Amir lost!!
It was even worse when Tarik started raving that he and his gym were humiliated that night etc, which sounds ridiculous but not suprising considering the **** we've heard Tarik say in the past.
Re the Princes' arrogance, as I said I have'nt met the bloke, so I apologise for ruining his name due to what seems to be a very unreliable comment (will have to scrap the source from by database!!)

Prince Amir is a gentleman and a fair person..
I remember that night when all the fighters from Tariks stable got beaten..I think that would have been the most humilating moment in kickboxing for Tarik...well he now has the right formula now Paul Fyfield he has come along way since...
Regards

Ps* I don't know if I would like to see Amir fight again depending on who????
