Hey i just want to open up a can of worms....
Why were there two shows on the same night in Brisbane a couple of weeks go?
For those of you that don't know Beenleigh Eruption and Southside Pride on 15th of March....

Can i ask why you only single out Boonchu & non of the other gyms with world champs
Or gyms with WMC title holders that fight on other bodies ?

They are fighters & they want to fight why not put them on other shows/bodies

michaels some gyms only stick to one sanctioning body, like wmc, other gyms dont mind and put there fighters on shows that are not just wmc.. i dont think john wayne minds as i have seen fighters on wmc, wka and whatever sanction ian bronson is on..
as to why there were 2 shows on one night, who knows about that, maybe the promoters know..

THATS A SINGLE OUT IN ANYONES LANGUAGE.

Just so you can sleep better at night mr michaels, Boonchu has busy fighters. They will fight on any show, any sanction. JWP and Angie rarely let the politics of sanctioning bodies control what show their fighters go on.
Look Peun Promotions. Jim Cass. Prophecy Promotions. Ian Bronson. SCTB. Strikeforce. Evolution. Xplosion.
All these are sanctioned by different bodies, and all these are attended regularly by Boonchu's fighters.

hey russ, you will like this...just up skiing for a few days with the family and last night flicked onto discovery channel at a pub and "Kickfighters" was on.
Of course when Masato was featured all the japanese come over and start chattering but then JWP comes on. Suddenly it goes quiet and in Japanese someone says "John-o Wayne-o Parr...awww, very good, everyone likes him". Then someone else said "he beats up Kozo, wish he comes back for K-1 again".
So there you go, no prompting, JWP still has pretty good product awareness here.

By the way, sensei Ihara who was training Masato in Kickfighters was the Promoter who put on JWP vs Kozo in Tokyo recently. Funny sh#t on the night, one of his boys was losing and not putting up a good performance so he comes over to the corner in his suit after a round and grabs the nearest photographer and slaps him across the chops and says "now get back in there and fire up" or words to that effect. I was thinking that it must have been a club photographer.

no he grabbed the nearest photographer around the neck, throttled him a bit and then slapped him away. The japanese around me laughed so I am thinking he must have been a club photographer. Made me chuckle as during Kickfighters they said Ihara san trains his fighters with "love" hehe.

My point is this, Two shows on the same night is like two rodeo's on it the same town in the same night.
It's just not cool...

When i put my show i was very very aware of what shows were on around ours. Regardless of the sanctioning body
involved. I do go to shows and i know that Boonchu fights everywhere on any show. Which is great.

th original question of why 2 shows on the one night was a very valid question, hey, i would have loved to go to both. But then out of the blue, you question the motives of Boonchu and what sanction they support. No, not over protective buddy. just protective.

I believe that Ian posted his promotion first on sportsblitz 2008 promotion dates thread. I talked to Paul and he had no idea that there was another promotion on the same date, until it was already on it's way. It's a simple mistake and nobody was harmed, Pauls show was packed and so was Ians. We support all promoters out there as long as they straight with us we will continue to support them.

That was not my intention.
Just wanted to have an open discussion with ya all.
Now i know why just mainly read and not post on here......
