The main event for this show has been locked in and I would like to announce that Kurt Finlayson Australia will be fighting Yoddecha Thailand 5 rounds FTR. I believe this will most definately be the best Muay Thai bout this year in NSW.Kurt has been in great form lately and as always will be there to do what he does best, as for Yoddecha on the 2 occasions that he has fought on J.N.I Promotions he has made short work of both his opponents.I would have to say that this would be one of the best main events I have ever put together.Major bouts that will be supporting this event will feature,

Pretty sure it was Brendan "chook" Ash,put his gloves up to block a kick but it went right through resulting in a KO.Also pretty sure Greg Foley was originaly matched but "Chook" was a last minute replacement.I wasnt at the show but thats what i was told,if this information isnt accurate can somebody please correct me on this.

Re: Wendy, MEH, Pepita made the big call which was all bull anyway and then when both JNI and Wendy accept, they put their tail between their legs and give a 9 month date. So the time has come and JNI chases them up being a man of his word. They want nothing to do with it which just re-iterates what I said all along in that thread, nothing but hot air from their camp.

Would be in Pepita's best interests not to fight a 9 month burning fire that is Wendy Miranda.

Yoddecha was a former Lumpini champion along with stable mate Depitak, he was a winner on the Kings birthday shows on numerous occassions beating Ryan Simson and many other top foreigners, i trained with him when he was 12 years old, he had already had about 40 fights then, he is an A class Thai and he will definately be the best fighter Kurt has ever fought, now he fights for fun, at his peak he was one of the best!

last March i went over to Louisville Kentucky for a fundraiser with Muhammad Ali,they were raising money for the Ali foundation and said that you will get to meet Ali and George Foreman,so i thought it was great chance to meet and get some gloves/trunks/photos signed.anyway they called it the "rumble in the jungle" luncheon.it was a great day and i got to meet some interesting people.
at the end of the day i spoke with the CEO of the Ali centre and told him if there was something like this ever again to please let me know,so on tuesday this week i received word that there was another fundraiser,i phoned them and booked my ticket there and then,so it looks like there will be 4 of us going over at this stage.

Ali has just moved back to Louisville Kentucky and thought that it would be a good idea to have the lunchoen his his house...kinda like a house warming he said.so it is to good a opportunity to pass up.

Scottya Yoddecha fought at 61-66kg he always gives away 2-5kg against westerners so he will be fighting Kurt at his better weight he never was 70kg, Kurt will be in for a hard night at the office, especially if Yoddecha trains hard for this one! last time he trained hard for 2 weeks before he fought Shannon

Yes I`ve spoken at length with JNI a couple years back the first time he was going to bring him over so know full well about his skill.

And that said I think Kurt will give him a much better run than F16 did. You are right also, depends how much Yoddecha comes to fight and how prepared he is. I think Kurt will put up a great challenge though.

Conditioning isn't an issue for him. For some people who do it for as long as Yoddecha has, the body becomes it's function and fighting doesn't tax the person as much as it would the other.

He just makes things look so easy it's not funny.

Everyone is fogetting Kurt has fought top rated thais alot through out his career, including his world title shots...don't underestimate him!! I think he will come through with the goods, its not going to be easy but he's hungry for it and fit as.

Kurts defense was impeccable.

Like a Shark cage, yod could not land a thing on him. Aside from that he pressured him non stop and countered everything he threw at him.

I'd say 5 rounds to Kurt but possibility of round 1 to Yod.

Kurt proved everyone wrong and pulled it off.

Wendy Miranda had a vicious fight. Her opponent is seriously a very tough girl.

Wendy did to her in round 2 what alot of fighters can't handle in 5 rounds.

She absolutely laid it all out on her even putting an 8 count on her but she managed to hold on and pull through the whole fight.

Leane got her revenge against Chico. First two rounds Chico came strong. Last 3 won it for Leane though as the diesel kicked in and she had finally warmed up.

Simon Blades is just crazy lol. Phoenix boy was smashing him and he would drop his hands in Mark Hunt vs Ray Sefo Style and take them all.

Bloody fight and some punishment in that one.

Adam taylor had a good fight until the point he got knocked out with a knee.

Heather was a pleasure to watch. Technical, sharp, accurate, hi work rate. Would of loved to see more power from her.

Her work rate though had her opponents leg look like a battered piece of meat.... ouccchhhhh. Extremely tough opponent.

Just a quick thanks to JNI for letting the little fellas up there to punch on again. I know they will never forget the times they have fought on big nights. Big thanks to Kurt and crew for being patient etc with the boys wanting to be close and get a few signatures etc before and after the fight. Thats why champions are champions. Its a shame there are not alot more young kids involved in the sport so they to can be showcased for big nights as they are the future of the sport. Would love to hear from anybody who has kids interested in sparring etc. Once again thanks to all

Hear we go again! Seriously, who gives a sh1t? We in the sport/business of making friends? If you happen to do so along the way, fine, kudos to you. But Wendy is in this because she's A FIGHTER, she wants to make a career out of it, it's not a social thing for her!
