Badato V Daddy cool is under K1 rules - yes Reinhart does have more fights than Daddy Cool but this is his first fight back from injury. I applaud Daddy Cool for taking the fight under K1 Rules. And there will be a rematch on Evolution under Mod Thai in the future.

the fight should have been cancelled today anyway. on a not-so-funny situation my mrs went through the tragic and horrible situation of having a late miscarriage. it is an awful, awful predicament and i cant even begin to explain what it feels like unless you have been through it yourself. i feel awful about the thought of letting down jason as well so the mrs and i are taking the fight anyway. as expected, my head is a little messed up, even though physically i feel bloody great. guess we will see what happens on the night but im just letting people know the situation i am in before making bets on or against me. as i did when my father passed away (although a very different situation) i will give it 150% as always and do whatever i can to win the fight.

Ahh thats kozo,l saw him fight young mick on the goldy last year.
Greg looked a little underdone in his fight with kozo,dont know if he had weight or illness issues but he looked a bit off his game.
I was suprised to see him lock up and knee,they dont seem to score kness very well under k1 rules.
Kozo is fit and busy and has a good chin,but his defence is too static,when he gets punched he shuts down and just stands there with a loose guard.
l think rather than locking up or kneeing when inside,l would stay on him and rip his body,uppercuts,hooks,over handrights short power punching,the dude just stands there,and it scores well under these rules.
Thats just my 2 cents,but l think Jasons style will work in this fight if he stays on,and can go flat out for 3 rnds.
As always l back the Aussie,Scerri by points.

Just got back from the show. Lots of good quality fights. Sniper was on fire. From the start everything he threw was sharp and strong. No way he was losing tonight.

Reinhardt was very rusty. Dane looked in control for the whole 3 rounds and was very strong with his hands. Also noticed that he was listening to absolutely everything Nugget was telling him.

Scerri was a monster. He looked like a man possessed and did everything right. From the beginning to the end he wouldn't let Kozo launch anything. Kozo had two standing eight counts against him, but to his credit he did show a lot of heart and continued
firing back until the end

the show was great sniper looked fantastic fast n strong lachlan took a while 2 get back up, the foley fite was a bit messy lots of holding, i was shocked that reinhardt-dane was a draw i thought dane dominated the fite, scerri was a machine letting loose with combos a few times it looked like he mite stop kuzo but he was very tough to withstand... awesome mainevent !

Oh what a night! Awesome card - awesome people to deal with - God I love this sport!

Fighters and their trainers and their seconds - from the first fighters to the pros on the card you all dealt in such a professional manner - was great to have your QLD support down here, Nugget, Bull, Daddy Cool (and his Pimp), Kozo, Yoshi thanks to you all.

About the draw with Reinhardt and Daddy Cool - I was backstage warming up Scerri when I heard it was a draw, by the time I got to the ring the guys had left the ring - of course it was meant to go an extra round but for reasons unknown this didn't happen. Not happy and I apologise to both fighters.

Big thank you to Trent "GoGo" Gough for stepping up on 1 days notice (how bizzare that this fight was matched by my wife and a girl she had never met before from Trents gym over a basin at the hairdresser). Trent your number is on my speed dial mate and I would love to have you on my show any time.

To my boys and Meredith - just shows you that there is no subsitute for hard work - the last 6 weeks the gym has been buzzing and everyone has been supporting each other and i'm so proud of everyone. Including the guys who didnt fight - you guys own the wins too. For helping Chris or Matt or Jason do those extra rounds and go for the extra run.

Scerri you are a machine. You are just getting better and better and heading in the right direction - I can hear Japan calling "mauler... mauler".
