We are almost at the end of the year, a really good year for our fighters. A way to celebrate them can be to list the actual World Champions. I start with JWP, Corbett, Ekkelboom and Narelle Leahey. Who wants to help me?

i believe shahan's title would have been relinquished ages ago.. im pretty sure she's officially retired now.. she came out of retirement before but wasnt the same as the old days.. especially her body taking quite a toll and getting injuries.. but at least she can say shes the only Aussie girl to win a WMC world title :)

Thanks for the kind words Mitch. Hey Cales, I am retired from fighting now as life has offered new opportunities these days (farming - ha ha!! thanks Russ) and my body was taking quite a toll - so I doubt I would still hold the title any more. But I acheived all thet I set out to do in the sport, so I'm happy with that and now I sit back and enjoy watching the next generation of promising talent (like yourself) take the sport to new and exciting levels.

a farmer shahan, wow that must be just as hard on the body :-P

it's you and the other female fighters from your time that have given us newbies something to aim for, WMC world champ would be very nice :-).

Hi Guys Yes both Pixie and Ts2 won the IMKO world titles which i think is World Muaythai and Kickboxing Orginisation based out of France, you can check details on MuayThai on line November 2004 Sean toomey promotion.
And neither one of them has defended the title unless Heather went and i didnt go and dont know about it ha, sorry Heather.

He probably sat down and made his own belt out of cardboard and coloured paper....

hahaha, paying out on gurkan is pretty cheap guys...The man has had a long career and has over the time been pretty cool to watch!! and even if he did sit down and make his own belt out of cardboard, I bet that there would be few people would be able to stand up and claim it....

that is all...and ahh, just to see what happens, add 'SHANNON 'SHAGGY' KING' to that list guys.

I was going to add him but was just sitting back waiting to see if anyone else would...

haha, Your welcome! however I must say a quick little word on how determined a fighter shaggy is...He went into his last bout with injuries which alot of fighters would consider significant enough to pull out of a fight, and with many commitments opening new supplement stores and a newborn child that His efforts to make it to his fight and perform well enough for the win are awesome. I think it's going to be enjoyable watching him grow more and more.
