when in hell is mundine gonna fight fighters in their prime ?
besides ottke ( who taught him a lesson ) who has mundine fought ?
all has beens and no names
personally , i think its disgraceful the way he and his people carry on and make stupid claims
After and only after beating high caliber fighters ( atleast 3 or 4 ) should he make claims ( prefer if he didnt ) ,SO until then SHUT UP , your a disgrace to your fellow australians and fighters.
Would be much better if he just kept nhis mouth shut and let his results speak for themselves
You never hear Kostya saying anything close to what mundine says and look at what he has achieved
Cheers

Well Said Drew,
Mundine should keep his mouth shut and start becoming a respectable fighter who can back up his words, there is no point fighting old men, he needs to start fighting creditable and in there prime fighters.

When is Mundine going to step up to Danny Green's challenge. Mundine will never be champ in that division until he starts taking real fights and maybe steps up to someone like the executioner Bernard Hopkins. Mundine would be wrecked inside two rounds by a guy like the executioner.

Gee, who would have guessed that Mundine would take on a less than worthy opponent again.
Good post Drew, totally agree with the points you brought up.
The so called "MAN" is taking shortcuts again and we all know what happened last time when he took shortcuts!!

Danny Green's record. His opponents records are shown at time of the fight with red signaling a loss and green a win. Check it out.

Interesting comparison. It appears that Mundine's opponents have lost a few less recent fights than Green's. Funny thing is though, why is Mundine still dodging Green? I bet he doubts he can handle Green's punching power.

I think Mundine isn't fighting Green as he wants his world title first and does consider Green a genuine threat.
I reckon if Mundine does win the title he will fight Green eventually, which I think will be a good fight.
In my opinion:
Mundine - STRENGTHS - offensive skills, punch power, speed & evasion
WEAKNESS - suspect jaw & suspect to pressure???
Green - STRENGTHS Very strong, ability to apply pressure & "tough"
WEAKNESS - evasion, can he stay away from Mundines right hand???
I am in no way a boxing expert so would be interested to hear other opinions.

Dowgy you speak my words exactly. I don't think mundine should fight Danny Green yet. I think he should press for another world title fight first. Then he should fight Green, give green the ultimate chance to not only win a world title but the chance to beat mundine once he is on top of the world. I love both of these fighters but don't you think it would be great if we could see both of these fighters fighting for the respect of a nation and god willing a world title on the line?

I think Mundine will retire if he reaches his goal of becoming a world champion. I can't be sure but I actually think he said that himself..

I dont think that Green has earned a shot at the title yet.
danny green might not have erned a shot at the title yet, but he has erned a shot at mundine..

A few more quality wins to Danny Green and i think he has earned a shot- but not just yet. Mundine is flying, no-one can deny that! You can query his opposition but you cannot deny the fashion in which he is starting to win by is nothing short of spectacular. The man is starting to display the sort of skill's that only the worlds a-grade fighters are showing. Pay the man the respect he deserves!
mundine will dodge the fight against danny green as long as he can , he knows cant win.
the only way danny will get to fight the man is to shave his head grow a beard, say he is 35 yrs old ,hasnt fort is 2yrs ,an lost his last 5 fights!!!
now tell me how do you respect that in the man????? he fights bums. any one can look good if you fight a bum.
How many more credible opponents has Danny Green fought? List them. Then we can analyse them.

All I can say is that BOTH guys have had questionable opponents and nobody can argue that Green is not good enough or doesn't deserve a bout with Mundine. If all of Mundine's opponents have been worthy and Green is not, well then i'm Oprah Winfrey.
