Nick Talkourous wasnt the heavyiest puncher but was more of a fancy fighter. Not overly muscled but merely just a plain fighter who was good enough to win most of his fights. I just mainly remember his hair flying around when he fought! lol The mushroom.

Nick Talakouris and Rick Kulu fought on the undercard of Stan The man and Branko Cikatic , I would rate fight the Fight of the decade next to Alex Tui Vs Kash Gill when Alex won the world Title in 1991....great memories, great fights......all gentlemen in the sport..

I think I've only seen one of Nick's fights on a barely working cassette, and never seen any of Rick Kulu's fights, which I'd love to see.

Actually, It would be so awesome to find someone that has an archive of video's from this period. Late 80's to mid 90's.

janer, you have it mixed up completely. Talakouris wasn't a fancy fighter, he just had a mean right hand! Nick used to fight on many Stan The Man undercards back in the old days.

Paul I have a contact who pretty much has an archive of HEAPS of old stuff.

I am sure Andrew would have the right contact , Nick the guy that use to post alot but does not post anymore I think you may have got a tape of him once before, he would have a copy of that fight
he has copies of all stans fights plus more...
