The Remy Bonjasky vs Badr Hari marquee match-up quarter final number three has most fans clearly divided.
Do you favour the experience, the speed and the rejuvenation of the former two-time K-1 World Champion REMY BONJASKY or do you favour the awesomeness, the knockout prowess and the bad ass of BADR HARI, the world's heavyweight champion?

Here is a prediction by LORD GAUL over at kakutougi.info

This is the most exciting fight of the opening round by far. Hari is the truth. He has so much talent and natural fighting ability. He looks to finish every fight and is young and cocky enough to think that he actually can finish every guy. He is the reigning -100kg title holder, and he finished both guys on the way to that title. The only question mark is the fact the 22-year-old has yet to fight, let alone win against, an elite fighter. Leko is a good fighter, but he really hasn't had an elite run in his K-1 career. Hari has the potential to face three if he can get by the 2-time Champion.

Bonjasky is back. He has a home gym finally, and the distractions are behind him. Getting with Hippolyte has improved his defense, and returned him to his active work rate days when he was a dominate K-1 fighter. He looked like a man on a mission in the Leko fight, and he wasn't even close to being in danger against Glaube when he out pointed him in Hawaii. The biggest advantage that Remy brings into this fight is that he is undefeated in extra rounds, and he has an amazing ability to win the third round. He turns it up just enough, and he keeps himself from taking big shots. I think that is the difference this time.

Prediction: Bonjasky by decision in extra round

This is the quarter final I absolutely cant wait for. This match will make the pay per view worth it alone! War Badr!!

I can't really pick it but the one thing that may determine it is that Remy has fought the best, won the GP and knows all about 8-man tourney fighting. This is basically all new to Hari at this level and his opponents are nowhere near as tough as Remy's portfolio.
For this reason my mind says Remy but dammit, I'm going to stick with Hari...if he can overcome Remy he will show himself as a real talent in the upbringing.

Hari has improved a lot in the last 12-18months, moving around like a much lighter fighter and fighting more tactically.

His most recent outing against peter graham was an eye opener, instead of looking for the big knockouts from the start he fought a very strategic points/scoring fight. Couple that with his ability to knock people out in a flash and he could prove lethal.

Prior fights he has let himself slip and get knocked down/out (first graham fight, first ruslan fight, and second ruslan fight before he finished it spring to mind) but yea, my money would be on badr, so long as he keeps a high + mobile work rate up.

Has anyone seriously tested his jaw since it's been fixed though?

Badr is awesome and has improved out of sight... but you're right, nobody has truly tested his jaw since it was rewired. Ruslan came close to testing it but not close enough. Badr is just so evasive and his enormous reach (incredibly long limbs) and his ability to use his jab (one of the best in K-1) and long range kicks so well makes it hard for someone to get on the inside of him.

I don't see Remy testing his jaw unless with a flying knee, which Remy has been using a lot of again lately and KO'd Leko with in the eliminators. For mine Badr out-boxes Remy and they wll battle a "kick off" which will be crazy to watch!
