Infomation needed
I know this is a kickboxing forum.... but I have a freind that wants to learn how to box and is looking for a good boxing trainer in the Melbourne area.
He purely wants to learn boxing not kickboxing.....does anyone have any suggestions

Yes I know a great place. Its at like a garage but they have many people who train there. Its like $2 per lesson.
The place is in the northen suburbs in a suburb called Kingsbury. Right in between reservouir and bundoora. Named Kingsbury Boxing Gym or something.
Look it up and see how you go.
Fighters factory in Blackburn. Murray is the trainer. Gurkan trained under him when boxing Hallford.
Good hard workout gym, you wont be let down

Have to agree JKLA, I recommend the fighters factory as well. No fluff, just hard workouts. Good blokes too.

Hey guys.. I'll third that comment on the Fighters Factory. I haven't trained there for sometime, but it takes the 'old school' fashion of training. No b.s marketing staff trying to sign you up for 12 months.. just casual fees and go hard. Kinda got the Rocky feel in the gym!
I did their website sometime ago.. which really hasn't been updated for ages as I've stopped going as a I said - but check it out for details / prices.
