Thanks Paul for re-posting the poster for me mate. I have forgotten how to do it plus I have had bugger all sleep over the last three or four days organising Ajarn Chai's Seminar tour of Australia trying to run my gym & fight promotion company as well. I will post the full fight card as it gets closer to the promotion. So far I have about 15 fights match with three being WKA titles.

"What did you expect?"

BULLET

Let me answer those questions for ou duncan:

1) Do you expect us to go down to Melbourne and challenge everyone and anyone to fight??? WE NEED TO BE ASKED FIRST and maybe some tightas promoters would start forking out some $$$ to get some interstate fights happening. The same way that Paul asked Dandy fight centre from melbourne to come up to his last 2 shows. COMMONSENSE BUDDY :)

2) To put your promotion on fox, you need to fall within their time and $$ budget. They have a specific time and $$ budget, and to the people who fall outside this budget, it will cost you $8000 to put your show on fox. Hardly worth it unless public support puts pressure on fox, or more people start coming to the shows and support kickboxin & Muay thai...

just some thoughts to consider...

To Answer your question Ducan, how can we fight in Melbourne if we are rarely asked mate. Secondly it also may have to do with I will only support legitamite worldwide sanctioning bodies. Most people know this so don't bother asking. This ia not ment as a dig at anyone or organization just my own personal beliefs thats all.
Why aren't my show on fox, well I haven't got about $8000.00 just to have my show televised mate. All I am really concerned with is promoting good quality shows to sellout crowds thats all.

On the subject of the Foxtel promotion of this fight night. Bullet,Pittbull, this is not meant to be in anyway a put down of your shows or promotions but do you think this card would stack-up to a foxtel promotion? Just in terms of fighters and match-ups. This is just a question.

pitbull

Hi Koshy
How do I think this show would stack up to a foxtel promotion, mate I have no Idea, All I kow that is I have been working away on this promotion since last December just before I left for Thailand and have been working on it as soon as I got back in late January. It should be a good promotion, I spend alot of time match making I want the fights to be be good evenly matched fights not mismsatches. That's what people pay money. Unfortunlatley I don't have the budget to get on fox. I really just want to keep putting on good shows to sellout crowds that's all. My shows usually start on time with no less than a 2 to 3 mintue gap between each fight, This show I have Four title fights and 13 undercard fights matched hopefully will we still finish before Midnight.Tickets have started to sell early for this one, also I have alot of fighters calling me to get on this show but I already have too many fights so I can't help them out this time. That's all I can really say mate.

G day Paul and ppl

i fought on a no bull bull fite nite many years ago and found it to one of the most organised fite nites going

i never cared which body i fought for , i just wanted to fight and Paul's no bull nite allowed me to do this

obviously Paul has a formula that works otherwise it wouldnt be # 20

ppl can bag promotors left right and centre but i found Paul to be a good promotor and i wouldnt hesitate recommending any fighter to accept a fight on any no bull fite nite

Cheers
Drew

Hi Dynamite Drew
I can't say I can remember you mate, but after so many years of being in this industry and also being hit in the head so much it is hard for me to remember everything. Did you fight on one of my early shows for a state title. If so I think I remember you. Thank you very much for the kind words. Mate I am just trying to do an honest job with what I have and help the sport I love grow in an honest, safe and positive direction. If only other promters could do the same thing wouldn't it be great.

All the best mate!

Hi everyone
Well we have just over a week left, tickets went on sale Monday and like I said earlier ringside is half gone. My phones are running hot with enquires so if you want a good seat be earlier. One good thing about the venue is that there is two very large screens at the front of the room where all the action is transmitted live as it happens. Again thanks for the support.

That's cool mate, doesn't matter how busy I might be I always try and make sometime for the good people in this industry. The trouble is there isn't enough of them these days. Most of them are to busy blowing their own trumpet rather than helping the sport grow don't you reckon mate.

Yeah. I think most people have good intentions though, sometimes we can all get a little side tracked from what should be no 1 consideration.

thanks for the comments human factors I try to let people know what's happening with my promotions rather than just keep advertising bouts that are not going to happen just to get people through the door. I think too many promoters try to do this so they don't loose ticket sales. It's not far to the ticket buyer.(just my opinion)

Paul,

I'm extremelly dissapointed that I now won't be able to make your show. I was offered some work assisting a wedding photographer on Saturday arvo in Albury, and my wife sort of accceped for me without checking what I had on. Had I answered the phone, I would have knocked it back, but my wife feeling that a hard working and broke ass photographer should be getting his **** together and taking these sorts of offers, kindly volunteered my services.

Oh well.

I just wanted to thank you anyway for the kind invitation anyway, and hopefully we'll catch up another time.

I hope that Ian will post some of his great images up for us to look at. It's good to be able to keep track of all these fighters visually, and I think pictures can make a hell of a difference in making names stick in our minds. Hopefully all promoters will get their shows photographed some day. I really am not saying this for the sake of drumming up future business, I make more of a single wedding than I do from shooting ten shows, but having studied Art History, I really appreciate promoters who make a record of their events through still images, because these are what we'll be looking at when looking back nostalgically at our sports history. And also appreciate Slyman putting in so much of his time to process his shots for web use. As far as documenting and making available for web, we in Sydney and Melbourne seem to be leading the way, this is easily evident by what is available internationally on Ax. And also evident by the Ax members knowing our promoters names, where we don't know their promoters.

Extremelly important to document and archive these things guys. Imagine how proud all the fighters could one day be, when they can put the grandkids on their knee and talk about the fights, and show them their career landmark pictures. Compared to the poor fighters who's promoters didn't bother. Big difference I think.

Anyway, keep up the great work and looking forward to the next opportunity at catching one of your Sydney shows.

just to let everyone know that I have lost one of the 4 main events for tomorrows promotion. Unfortunelately Malcom Johnson has had to pull from his Australian title fight against Mark "Bullet" Vella due injury he has 12 stiches in his foot and it is badly brusied after dropping a large piece of slate on it. I still have 3 WKA state title bouts and 11 supporting bouts scheduled. Oh well that's the fight game.
