no
he deserves to be given a tribute night/official retirement fight just like k1 do for their fighters. flowers from past rivals, trainers, promoters, and fans would be a touching spectacle. a testimonial all combined with a deserved last win (calculated risk) fitting for such a great champion! the media would jump on it one more time! and the sport needs it! vodaphone arena within 6 months! but after all this the big question would be...who can replace the mans given talents in and out of the ring for the sports future? remember zambidis is greek and canot get the full support of the media. we need an aussie to carry the flag, but who is worthy enough?

1. Yes
2. He is about a million miles from who he once was (and he accepts that) and has no need or desire to fight again. He doesnt even need or want the fight game anymore, better to move onto his other ventures in his life and leave the name Stan The Man Longinidis written into the history books.

1) Yes
2) It's time to say goodbye to Kickboxing for Longinidis you could tell against Ozkan he was in trouble after round three, I'd hate to see him receive a real beating which would happen if he fought one of the top K-1 Fighters. Hopefully he stays involved in the sport in some way as a trainer or Commmentator. Well done on a great career and thanks for the memories Stan.

Yes/No I know some of you think I am crazy but i would like to see Stan have one more fight just a 6rounder and win then retire
and another part of me says retire..I guess it is what he wants to do ,his last fight against Gurkan he did say his heart was not there after the 5th round,I guess one more won't hurt as long as I get to match his fight....mmmm..I guess I can't seem to let go of Stan retiring..or I want to see him go out winning.a retirement fight ......he has been a great for the sport, there will be know one like him.....What do think Michael? I have just the person for him..

1. yes
2. win, lose, or draw, stan will always, ALWAYS, be THE MAN, and I don't want to see him lose to fighters he would've demolished in his prime. And that's not a shot at Gurkan, Gurkan deserved his victory against Stan, he was awesome. And so is Stan.

1. Yes and No
2. He desreves to go out with a bang to celebrate his career, so maybe a retirement fight, but his actual competitive days are clearly over and should have ended a few years ago. Thanks for being an inspiration from all those years ago Stan!

1. Yes
2. It's in his heart to move on. But I would like to see an official retirement bout, where he could say farewell to all his fans. But only he knows if he has it in him for a final farewell fight.
