Choppa beats two Thais back to back.

If he hadn't already done it Chopper cemented his legendary status last night with an awesome display over BOTH Lerdmongkong and Kongsuriya. He beat Lerdmongkong over three rounds on points. It was a beautiful display of Muay Thai, both guys showing plenty of skill and amazing kicking ability. After the decision was announced the second fight started straight away, about two minutes in Choppa landed a SWEET shot, from where I was it looked like a left hook or left elbow and totally KOED Kongsuriya. He was out for a while afterwards.

Hey Richie,
how is NZ? when are you heading back to OZ? What was the format of these fights? like a 4 man eliminator or something? Good work to Chopper cleaning up two thais in a row!

I'm studying in NZ so I'll be here for a while yet. It's cool here, plenty of fights happening reguarly, lots of new faces on the scene fighting reguarly it's exciting.

The format was Chopper fought the first opponent three rounds and after that the second stepped in and the other stepped out during the regular rest period for another three rounds, however he got caught in the first.

FACT: race and country of origin does not determine ones muaythai ability. Individual DNA/RNA makeup and ones surrounding environment does. Thus making some countries slightly different to others, but not enough to have a noticeable advantage =]

hahaha yeh im just being an idiot =]

wish i could go 2 the fight.. but i trained with eugene for too long, ive seen him train from day 1 til when he left us, and he is still improving. he is one of the toughest, most frustrating fighters i think he will shake chopper up. Moneys with eugene for this one. This fight has been on the cards for sooo long..
