Supposedly Daniel Dawson had his ribs broken in sparring and won't be fighting Geale now for the IBO world title. Bit of a shame, lot of people have been waiting a long time to see this fight.

Crap. Bad luck for Daniel, hope he comes back stronger. I guess this means he's off the shootboxing card Hiro was talking about as well.

Daniel Geale, but I wouldn't call him unlucky. It will be Dawson's toughest fight yet.

No, it will be on card featuring the rematch between Sonni Michael Angelo & Shannan Taylor.

'ROCCO' would beat everyone in the middleweight division in australia with ease taylor is finished and has been for year micheal-angelo got beat by taylor wat as@#t fight that would have been if they hadn't of stopped it and geale is ok iam telling you knowone in australia is even close to ROCCO in the middleweight division

Fact
Kiwi's have dominated Kickboxing and Muay Thai over Thai's, Aussies, Turks, Greeks
since kickboxing and muay thai was established

i would love to see dawson knock michael - angelo out. Just because the jungle man carries on like such a pork chop all the time. Can anyone fill me in on what was with the chair and soccerball haha

kiwibouncer is your middleweight statement hypothetical ? i might be wrong and i'm sure you'll correct me but isn't dawson junior middleweight?

he is rank in the top 10 or 15 in the world in he middleweight and i haven't seen him ranked in the junior rankings but i could be wrong but i thought he was middleweight like kickboxing/muaythai but he will smash all them when he comes back

Jungle boy is now moving up to Light Heavy to fight for the vacant WBF world title. So the rematch with Taylor is off...

Fair jump in weight for him though?

i think he floats around 76 -77 kg so he should be alright. he's tough and hits hard. His main opponent is himself. If he could stay focused on his game plan and box clean instead of worrying what the crowd is doing or getting frustrated and making bad decisions that cost him points , he'd be a much better fighter. Personally i dont think he has it upstairs to progress any further in the sport.
