What do the Zam fans think of all the talk of maybe somehow meeting Ozkan?

Is this a fight you guys would like to see Mike in, or would you prefer to see him concentrating on his own weight division?

I'm trying to think of other big name Mike fights that would get me pretty excited, but I only keep coming back to Parr for now. Every one else I try and picture in the ring with this guy is just getting a royal whipping.

For fights in Aus, even if Mike didn't want to take the Ozkan fight, I think for serious competition that Tarik is going to have to try and get some of the heavier guys down in weight slightly. I think Hallford at 74 or so would make a good fight with Mike. Certainly size doesn't seem to worry Mike much.

I think if Zambidis beats Albert, I'd really love to see him go up against Masato. Albert beat Masato for the first time in the K-1 Max Semi-final last year, then Albert and Masato had a 5rd re-match which ended with a draw. I also believe Masato is the best thigh kicker in the middle weight devision, it would be intresting to see how Zambidis would handle those.

Paul do you by any chance know Zambidis hight? age? and when he started training Kickboxing?

Yea.

Montana,

I've read a couple of different heights, but I'd estimate he's about 5 feet 2 inches Max. My mother in law is right on 5 feet, and Mike looks a couple of inches taller than her.

Age,
I first heard that Mike was 22 at the first Baris fight. If that was correct, than I'm estimating mike to be 24 or 25.

Hopefully, someone will give us a far more accurate answer for all your questions.

Have no idea how long ago Mike started fighting, this is something I'd be very interested to hear myself. Just stuff like how much experience he's had as an amateur, or how many boxing fights if any.

Yeah dude, I really can't find ANYTHING on Mike. I think someone should interview him with questions we all want to know and post it on here! What do use all say?

Thanks anyways Paul.

Names please Ghost.

I'm sick of these Gurkan's the king maniacs taking over.

I wanna talk about Mike.

I swear this guy is the sharpest puncher in the world. I've worked out how to get connection shots from him. It's very simple, just look for the opening and your sure that Mike is going to hit that spot hard.

I have got a really good fight for him....GENKI SUDO! That would be sick! They're both made and exciting fighters, expecally Sudo, who makes up all these crazy moves he makes up himself. Tomorrow night, same night as Zam Vs Kraus is Genki Vs Masato. Far out I wish Fox was broadcasting these fights!

Dawson retired from MT/KB and does Boxing. Maybe they could fight Boxing rules, but wouldn't want Zam to enjoy it and move to Boxing too <img src=icon_smile_dissapprove.gif border=0 align=middle>

Yea.

Thanks for the info Montana,

We'll have to check out the Ax and see if Oliver Sperling will post some Zam V Krauss news and fight images.

I'm sure it will be a Zam win by K.O.

Mike 'Zeus' Zambidis,

Hmm, like the Greek god thing Montana, but it doesn't exactly role of the tounge.

I think we should steal Ernesto's nick.

Mmm, Mr Perfect, nahh. I reckon Zeus. Does it have to role of the tounge? The Pride HW Champ has a Greek Nick Name and he Brazilian. Anotonio Rodrigo 'Minotauro' Nogueira. Minotauro means GREEK MONSTER, if I'm not mistaken. But I think they should make something more original for Michael. When they say Iron Mike, it reminds me of Tyson, not Zambidis.

Yea.

Minoturo is pretty cool.

'Minotauro' Mike Zambidis.

if Mike feels really comfortable at his weight like it looks, and he makes the weight fairly easily, then he should stay in it. He isn't top of the world yet so no need to move up for competition. A one off thing is ok, but he would be aiming at the k-1 max world title to collect the US$100,000 (i think) prize money.
