Got a message from Paul this morning. It is true that he is fighting Semmy. A tall order but Paul asked specifically for it. I am glad that he wanted this and hopefully I'll be in Korea to corner him. Will wait and see.

why would paul not want to meet seemy in the final 8 as opposed to now. i find it hard to believe he actually wants to meet him in the preliminarys considering he is the most dominant k-1 heavyweight fighter nowadays. best of luck tho paul i wish u well.

I guess one way of looking at it is, try and get rid of what you see as your biggest threat in a single fight situation where you face him fresh and can throw 110% at him and not worry at all about having to carry an injury through to another fight 30 minutes later.
