Toma didn't fight due to injury.
Main Event result:
Nick Rivera (Taruas Gym) went down to Derry Temple Bondi Muay Thai) by split points decision in a great fight that saw both fighters on the end of eight counts.
For me, Nick was heaps busy with his hands but Temple took it with constant barrages of knees which the judges loved. The crowd support for both guys was i n t e n s e.
Jarrod Botha defeated Chris Atkinson SPD. I think Ako had a bad night at the office. I've seen Botha fight only once before and I didn't have much hope for him to get a win this night. He made me eat my words in a great fight.Ako didn't fire like I've seen him before and Rob Murdoch's brought Jarrod on in leaps and bounds. He'll be one to watch.
Steve Guinane defeated Adam Harvey unanimous. this was the third time these guys have met with one win a piece in Kickboxing. This time in Muay Thai (without elbows) Guinane grabbed the win and made amends because it was his loss to Harvey which upset his unblemished record of 5 from 5.
Tomaz Forfa defeated Simon Blades unanimous.
'Chooper' Noel Arthur made good his return to the ring for a good while against Terry Gallagher. Chopper really came alive in the third round with two eight counts being put on Gallagher. This was Gallagher's first loss.
Liz Bennet UPD over Sheena Chew
Anthony Wharton and Glenn Tippler - hmm, cant remember the result of this one.
Peter Miles and Chris O'Neil. Miles made good his second outing in the ring when the referee stopped the contest in the second round to make it 2 wins from 2 starts. Too strong for O'Neil.
Simon Black and Robby Gundry - sorry cant remember this one either!
Haeta and Angelo Konidaris. The McKinnon trained Konidaris took this win. Both these guys fought to what was a virtual stand-still.
Mikolay Forfa and Luke Davis. Davis won by SPD.
Nan Do and Gerad Slieman. Slieman took this win by SPD
Adam Roach and Grant Coote. Roach won by SPD.
I'll post some pic's soon.
