I know this topic is late, but I think its overdue.
I must admit my mistake, I thought the Stan fight was rigged but after all the intelligent posts, I admit I was wrong.
But,
Are you trying to tell me that the ring girl comp was not rigged?? Did you see the winner???

I know she was a celebrity ring announcer, and that her name is Nikki.

Is she an actress or something?

I spend far too much time watching cable and never have my T.V on commercial television...so don't even know what sort of celeb she was, or even a surname to file it under.

Gorgeous girl though.

Her name is Nicky Whelan... she is a model / dancer here in Melbourne. Yours truly had to teach her the ins and outs of ring announcing the day before the show! LOL! She did an excellent job for a ring announcing virgin.

The show had lots of stunning girls.
I shot a couple of hundred images of the 25 of them, but ringside was so crowded (and I was one of the lucky photographers), that I couldn't even find room to put my laptop down and transfer all my images from my cards. So I had to end up writting fight shots over the Girl shots.I<img src=icon_smile_dissapprove.gif border=0 align=middle>

Oh well.

Jon, the girl that won.....has always been the easiest to photograph. At every single Solak promo she is on, I've always thought that she was the most professional of all. Really took being a cardgirl seriously, and makes sure she has a great smile for every single camera as she walks by.

I'll try and dig up some more images guys. I had tons of great shots of these beautiful girls and lots of sexy bellies, but as I said I had to write over them. I only had 4 digital film cards.

I'll try and dig out some shots of them actually working in the ring.
