This message is for matt I tried to reply to your article on DHEA but my PC went haywire. I am a qualified Nutritionist and have a Sport Science degree. Throw away that carnitine stuff belive me it a money making scam. There is no suck thing a "fat stripper" pill, just like their is no such thing as a "World champion Kickboxer pill". The key to fat loss is in the way you exercise. It is actually easier to lose fat than get fit. For example: to burn fat you only have to work at 55-65% of your maximum ability for 20 minutes a day. If you are training for a fight say 5 days per week full on , if you have a good trainer you would be working at 80-90% of your maximum ability. So the only time during a good training session you are in your fat burning "zone" is your warm up and cooldown. You are still burning fat while you are training hard but nothing compared to when you are at a lower intensity.

Exercise and Fatloss has a direct relationship with the F.I.T.T principle:
F: Freaquentcy :how many times per week( at least 3)
I: Intensity % of your maximum ability (fat loss 55-65%)
T: Time : duration of workout (at least 20min of continuous work)
T: Type: Specificity ( this more applies to fitness than fat loss, basically to get fit for the ring you mimic the movement in training).

To find your target zone you must moniter your heart rate(HR)
220 minus your age is your hearts maximum ability.
EG: 220 minus 20 years= 200bpm.
divide 200bpm by (for fat loss)55% & 65% =110bpm & 130bpm. So for 20 minutes work out between 110 and 130 heart beats per minute.
It is easy exercise, honestly you will swear its not doing anything for you, that why everyone gives up on this method and they are still struggling with their fat loss.
